When Elise mentioned her relationship with Tobias in the last book, I figured he just treated her like a sister. But after reading about the weird relationship between Jimmy, Maggie, and Nicole's mother, I quickly figured out that Elise was Nicole & Jimmy's daughter. She is certainly a sociopath. She has no empathy for others. She has no feelings of love or caring for other people. Everything centered around her and making sure she got what she wanted.
Actually, Elise was Tami & Jimmy’s daughter, making her the half sister of both Tobias and Nicole.
Nicole is bat **** crazy and highly manipulative, making her extremely dangerous. There was some mention of her cruelty to animals growing up, which isn’t surprising. She’s most definitely a sociopath and a psychopath given her love of violence. I found her the scariest of all of them.

Ooops. Yes, I meant to say Nicole's mother & Jimmy's daughter. I couldn't remember Tammi's name at the time.
That character list is massive!
FYI, I have a method of how I group them. In the recurring list, the family members are listed first, along with their spouses/significant others. Then I list law enforcement members, grouped by organization, including their support folks. Last are any furry characters.
In the non recurring list, I try to include the major characters first, grouped by family or organization. Extremely minor characters are listed near the bottom. I also try to keep murder victims together, especially if we’re dealing with a serial killer.
Hope that’s helpful.

Elise kept calling Tobias her brother so I wasn't surprised that it was true. I was surprised at the half brother part. That was one messed up family.Elise is way more than a sociopath. She has so many other issues that need to be addressed.
That is one truly messed up, dysfunctional family. I was not surprised the were in fact related. Absolutely, Elise is a sociopath. I don't think we've seen the last of her.
It's difficult to see how Elise could be so far gone at that young age, but her nurture part of the equation was certainly awful.
