at a young age she was taken in by a man who runs a large portion of a lot of lumber shit in the district, he later had a son (who he didnt really pay attention to) and gave Minsuh very high expectations of whi she should be, shes always been stuck striving to be the stoic, cunning, calculated badass that she was told ahe should be, and she acts this way but deep down it isnt a good reflection of who she is. she volunteered for the hunger games to be the daughter her father wants her to be (its repetitive to say it again but its her little backstory)
