Personality - tough | level-headed | practical | intelligent | kind | trustworthy

Lyra to those that know her is a level-headed, practical, and highly independent woman. She's quite a serious individual who really struggles to shut off at times. She's very logical, can make decisions easily but is also incredibly direct. Some people may find Lyra a little sharp, she's a good leader but is quite imperious at times. She throws herself into any task, always giving it her all and so often feels a little hard done by when others don't do the same. Lyra expects a lot from people, she always has done, which probably explains by she frequently feels disappointed by those around her. It might be the people she's surrounding herself with, but at the same time, it might just be her.

Underneath her tough exterior, Lyra has shown to be nurturing and maternal. She is kind but often struggles to express it, especially to people her own age. This doesn't always break through her tough resolve, but anyone that knows her can see she's struggling under the surface. She has a bad habit of shutting down and shutting people out whenever she's feeling low. Maintaining emotional relationships with people is something she has always struggled with.

history: Both Bria and Lyra were born to Olivia and Charles in the Capital though different years. When Bria was eight and Lyra was fourteen, the family moved to District Five because of their parents, who were very well-known people, and they were offered a job in the District. They moved there at once and even though they no longer lived in the Capital, the President caught in touch with Olivia and Charles. Anyways, the people of Five didn’t really trust the family but they managed to get by just fine.
When Lyra was twenty-four years old, she was offered a job as a Gamemaker because of her suggestions towards the Games and because of her family’s connection to the Capital and the people in it. And later in the years, four months after she joined the team, she was promoted to Head Gamemaker. But unfortunately, Charles and Olivia betrayed the Capital by trading classified secrets and helping rebels who had been hidden for years. So, while Lyra got to stay as the Head of the Gamemakers, Bria, her sister, was chosen for the Games. (hide spoiler)]
