Ben Truong | 60 comments Completion Post:

Just finished reading: "Twelve Angry Men" written by Reginald Rose with an introduction from David Mamet (★★★★★) it is a classical play, which depicts a jury in deliberation that is forced to consider a homicide trail in which a teenager is on trial in killing his father.

Rose explores the deliberations of a jury of a homicide trial, in which a dozen "men with ties" decide the fate of a teenager accused of murdering his abusive father. The story begins after closing arguments have been presented as the judge is giving his instructions to the jury. Twelve men – at various points angry review the evidence and face their prejudices.

Elspeth (elspethm) | 49 comments I didn't count these for this challenge, but if anyone wants to read the Smythe-Smith books by Julia Quinn, the girls all have flower names. I liked The Secrets of Sir Richard Kenworthy. with Iris Smythe-Smith. They're neighbors of the Bridgerton family.
