me tooo
not really, I only have Circe in my tbr so that and then I'll probably start some new series or something. I kinda want to start the Raven Boys series, has anyone read it?
I haven’t read it yet, but I have it on my tbrreally random, but I just created a new pfp and ahhh it looks so good 😭
@AmishaThank youuu
I used a website to make it for me, but it was in Japanese so I had no idea what it was saying

I hated the Hating Game, but none of my friends read itBut everyone else loved it, like fellow readers, booktok, booktube
I hated The Book Thief! I made it half way through and DNF'd it. And its not a small book either. I just did't like anything about it. I thought it was boring but everyone I talk to loves it... I've been wanting to read the hating game actually, but its not at the top of my list. If it's not good I might just skip it. Do you like that genre?
The Hating Game is an enemies to lovers and romance novel, so I thought I would love it. Instead I hated the characters and the plot and the romance. I dnf’ed when I was, like, 85% through with the book
Bethany wrote: "Yeah. Do you DNF books often?"I think I’ve only dnf’ed seven books, but it’s usually because it’s due at the library or I don’t have time to read it at the moment.
Bethany wrote: "Have you ever read a book, and not liked it. But like everyone you've talked to likes it?"I didn't like The perks of being a wallflower, like its not that I hate it but I don't like it either yk? but aaaaaall of my friends on goodreads gave it 5 stars so °-°
I think that the ratings are cool, but they aren't always reliable. I just read a book with not great ratings, but I really liked it. I'm actually reading the perks of being a wallflower in June so I hope I like it. If I don't I'll let you know lol!

It's one of my all time favorite books in the books but I can see why people wouldn't like it. It def seems very polarizing.
Bethany wrote: "Have you ever read a book, and not liked it. But like everyone you've talked to likes it?"I CAN'T stand the Raven Cycle series. I've only read two books but wow, I hated it. I didn't like any of the characters and the plot was so wishy washy. But everybody seems to really love it as a series.
Bethany wrote: "What books put you in a book slump, or brought you out of one?"I don't think any books have put me in a reading slump, but fast-paced books usually get me out of my reading slumps. The only reason why I'm put into reading slumps is that I lose all motivation to read.
Yeah I totally get that. I don't think I've gotten into a reading slump because a book other than maybe The Book Thief. When I do get in a reading slump its usually for a long time. I haven't had a reading slump in awhile though. My last one was because the library closed due to covid last year.
Bethany wrote: "What books put you in a book slump, or brought you out of one?"Usually I get into a slump when I finish a super amazing book and I feel like nothing will ever live up to it. When that happens, I usually read a Danielle Steel book and then I get out of that slump.
Lmao! I'm going to bed right now, because it's 1 am! Agh I would totally stay up longer, but I'm already going to regret staying up this late!
There is just something about night time for me! I love to stay up for some reason. It has a different feel than daytime.
Bethany wrote: "Am I the only one who stays up even if they're tired?"There's an actual term for that. It's called like revenge bedtime or something like that. Basically you stay up at night because that is when you have the most control since days are usually so busy.
My dad says I just don't like the change. Like I don't want to wake up when I'm asleep, but I also don't want to go to sleep when I'm awake.

So, hello!
