I will open this thread in a few weeks. But thought I would get it up so you can be contemplating what book you would like to nominate to the group.

Nominations are open. Nominations will close on October 25th then I'll get the poll up and running!
The Gathering Storm (Wheel of Time, #12; A Memory of Light, #1) by robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson
There are actually several really good suggestions this month! I like both Grotesque and The true story of Hansel and Gretel and volume 12 of Whee of Time - but as much as I would like to read the new Wheel of Time, it will have to wait till I have read the first 11 in that series (I've finished 3 so far...). But the other two suggestions are so good that I will refrain from suggesting something else this month.

I've been reading so much Historical fiction in October I want to move onto some gruesome Japanese crime!"Fiona, have you read Out fits the bill of gruesome Japanese crime (perpetrated by regular people). Not my cup of tea but might be yours (our bookclub was very divided by it).
I will toss a nomination into the ring: Cloudstreet A Novel I love books by Tim Winton and haven't read this one yet.
I have been meaning to read OUT I own it and believe it or not it was recommended to me by Junot Diaz! (he came to our book club at work)

Um I'll just throw a nomimnation out there in case this is still open...lolThe Gargoyle
