~final thoughts~ ACOTAR is better in my opinion. Yes, the plot is very fragile than the ToG series but it's not at least predictable like ToG. And ToG is very lengthy. SJM could wrapped up the series in fewer books. Nonetheless, the characters are GOLD. There are no one second to Manon, Dorian, Azriel , Cassian or Nesta.
It's very hard for me to pick up between these two as they both are my favs and SJM is my queen. But I just like ACOTAR more, it's more relatable 🙂

~final thoughts~; Okay, as you probably can see I love both these series, but I find throne of glass to be slightly better. Moslty because the plot got me a little more engaged. Still, I love the characters from both series and the world building is on point. Also, enemies to lovers....

I personally liked Throne of Glass better, just because of the plot. The first ACOTAR book had a good plot, but the rest of the series went a little off track.

I loved both of these series, I think in terms of the first book in the series ToG definitely wins but if you compare the full series together I think I lean more towards ACOTAR.

this was so tough because I truly loved both series so I don't think I can make much of a distinction at all! ACOTAR's world-building I think is one of the best EVER written. ACOTAR's characters just feel so much more real and fleshed out than ToG but ToG's characters are already SO GOOD. yes, as you can tell, I am a huge fan and this question is torture!!

Final Thoughs
I think ACOTAR is a bit overhype, but I enjoyed reading the books. With ToG I loved it a lot. I fell in love with the story and the characters. The firsts two books of ToG are a little slow, but the next are great.
Overall i will reread both series.
The winner is....~drumroll~ Throne of Glass series!! It got 89.5 points whereas A Court of Thones and Roses got 87.5. It really was a close one ;)
Btw stay tuned fellas, because we got a brand new Monthly Debate and ofc, the surprise challenge coming up with the ToG series.
