Oh, no. It was completely reasonable. As a matter of fact, he was more generous with his time than he probably should have been. Even though he didn't believe her, Bentz actually listened, which was something that hadn't happened before.
I'll be back. I didn't recognize this name. I have two Cold Blooded books on my Kindle. I read the wrong one. :-)
He was remarkably polite under the circumstances. Although I'm sure I've read where psychics have consulted with Police Departments IRL. Find it totally unbelievable myself.
Sharon wrote: "I'll be back. I didn't recognize this name. I have two Cold Blooded books on my Kindle. I read the wrong one. :-)"There are a heap of books with this title. How much of the book did you read before you realized?
Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "He was remarkably polite under the circumstances. Although I'm sure I've read where psychics have consulted with Police Departments IRL. Bentz reacted like a cop. They get all kinds of nut cases who come to them looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Bentz did listen. I agree with Lisa, he was polite.
Lisa, I read the whole book. It was by Lisa Regan, I waited for the location to switch from Philadelphia to New Orleans. By the third chapter, I knew I was in the wrong story, but I couldn't stop reading.. It was a good story.
I thought Bentz had a pretty decent reaction, too. Definitely skeptical but he was also conflicted because the woman in front of him seemed completely normal.
Bentz was a lot more courteous than I would have expected him to be. He didn't call her a nutter to her face and he actually listened to what she had to say. Part of that was because she affected him on another level, but he did treat her with respect even if he was skeptical of what she had to say.
