((Could you just put it as Moka’s?))

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Well...I ran into a problem that’s...weird.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

‘Assume points A, B, C are on the same line. If AB=8 and BC=3, then what is the length of AC?’

Astra - Halloween Wendigo (No more groups unless I'll like it please) | 9 comments oh I know something like that

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Ok

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

It’s ok

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

My teacher said this one was optional, just thought I would try it.

Astra - Halloween Wendigo (No more groups unless I'll like it please) | 9 comments I do though but I need to write it down first

Astra - Halloween Wendigo (No more groups unless I'll like it please) | 9 comments is there a picture?

How about this one?

‘How many ordered integer tuples (x,y,z) satisfy all the following inequalities?

2015 <= x < 2025

2015 <= x+y+z < 2025

2015 <= x+2y+4z < 2025’

Astra I don’t think you’re supposed to chat in this thread. This is just for me and Henry.

oh sorry I didn't know

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

(It’s ok!)

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Ok

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

This is 7th grade

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

But those were just extra ones

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Heres the some of the real “stuff” on my paper:

1. Multiply and reduce to lowest form (if possible) :

(i) 2/5 × 5/4

(ii) 1/3 × 15/8

(iii) 4/5 × 12/7

(iv) 15/16 × 10/12

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Well...I’m just bad at math then because I don’t know what to do. Can you help me?

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Ok one sec I’m doing what you said...

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Ok I’m done! Thank you so much! I have more tho ;-;

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

(So this is not review but it’s a bunch of stuff so there’re not all the same)

Find:

(i) 3/5 of a dollar

(ii) 3/4 of a year

(iii) 2/3 of a day

(iv) 5/8 of a kilogram

(v) 2/3 of an hour

(vi) 7/25 of a litre

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

I got number vi and iv on my own. Thank you for the rest though!

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

Multiply the fractions:

(i) 2/9 by 4/5

(ii) 3/5 by 12

(iii) 2¹/₃ by 2/5

(iv) 5³/₄ by 2³/₇

This is the last part of my math!

No, it's fine. Astra, if you can help Moka, then you can!!

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

If you're just chatting, then no.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Ohhhhhhh ok! Thank you for your help! That was the last part of my math :>

Maybe Astra can help Audrey

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, maybe. But if she can help she can go in any thread. I made Henry a mod cuz I'll be off soon. But anyone cna help, as long as they aren't trying to get the wrong answer.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi is anyone on? I need help with some math :/

message 32: by Milind (new)

Milind (milindkapadiya) I can help.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

What grade are you in?

message 34: by Milind (new)

Milind (milindkapadiya) I’m in 8th, but have taken Honors Algebra 2.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, I’m in seventh!

message 36: by Milind (new)

Milind (milindkapadiya) Ok, I can help you then. Let me know the problem your stuck on. :)

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Ok. Let me type it

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

(i) 2/9 by 4/5

(ii) 3/5 by 12

(iii) 2¹/₃ by 2/5

(iv) 5³/₄ by 2³/₇

message 39: by Milind (new)

Milind (milindkapadiya) Are you multiplying?

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

I believe so. Not sure, I do online school and zoom so we use this website for our math and she tells us what problems to do but she’s really confusing...she just typed this to our school chat in this message app: “here is the extra math. I know we did math this morning over zoom but we always do extra math. I am only typing this for Krystal because she is new to this class.”

message 41: by Milind (new)

Milind (milindkapadiya) If you are multiplying, then here is how to solve the problems:

1. Multiply numerator by numerator and denominator by denominator. Then simplify it.

2. Turn 12 into 12/1 and follow the steps for the first problem.

3. Turn 2 into 7/3 by multiplying 2 and 3 and adding 1. Then follow directions for step one.

4. Do the same for both numbers and follow directions on problem one.
(I’m pretty sure this is the right way to solve them, but I may be wrong.)

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

Ok I did what you said...I can send the page yet though. THERE IS MORE.

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

2/9 by 4/5

= 2/9 × 4/5

= (2 × 4)/(9 × 5)

= 8/45

message 44: by Milind (new)

Milind (milindkapadiya) Alright, give me some time to type it out. I’m on my iPad so it takes a while.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Ok. I’m on a laptop. Not a chrome book, a Apple laptop :>

message 46: by Milind (new)

Milind (milindkapadiya) The answer you got is correct.

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

Yay!

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

Last thing:

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

Simplify the fractions:

(i) 5 × 3/20 × 2/15

(ii) 14/25 × 35/51 × 34/49

message 50: by Milind (new)

Milind (milindkapadiya) 1. Turn 5 into 5/1 and multiply it with 3/20. Simplify that answer and multiply it with 2/15. Then simplify it again to get the final answer.
