A seven. Not bad. Saiya bounced on the balls of her feet, looking over everyone else's scores. Naja had gotten a perfect twelve, something she'd never seen happen before. Maybe she should start avoiding her. Or at the very least, stop staring whenever she did something relatively cool. Saiya didn't want to make herself a clear-cut target for anyone, especially someone with a score like that. Kitt too, she thought, eyeing his eleven, and Vera.
That had been Jules' score. He'd been a favorite, a crowd-pleaser, and a major threat. But he'd been too young for them to think he deserved a full score.
Bryell had gotten a twelve, too.
Once, Naja would have been ecstatic. Would have flashed all the other Tributes a dark smile, a promise that she would live up to her number. Would have thrown her midnight hair back in self-satisfied glory. Would have laughed to herself, knowing that Bryell waited for her in the Victor's Village or at the Academy.
Now, it was only another battle won.
Another mark shot.
One more step closer to bringing down the Games.
Prim looked at her score. It qas more than she thought she would have gotten. "A six?" She asked out loud, quietly. She shook her head, a small smile was forming on her lips. Maybe she could do this; or atleast last longer than she thought. It wasnt a twelve and if Prim was being honest with herself, she never actually would have wanted the twelve. But a six?! That was more than she could have imagined. People were betting knher, they wanted her to survive. The small smile grew to a large grin on her face

She didn't care much about her score. She knew she wasn't as skilled as a lot of the other tributes, but that wouldn't deter her. She would win without a high score. She didn't need one. She looked away from her score and thought about her strategy.

Alren looked around at the other tributes. The Career girl who had climbed the wall with ease--Taffeta--had gotten a 9. He needed to look out for her, as well as the rest of the Careers, but so far he liked his odds. Considering he was from District 10, he was satisfied with the score he got.

Wouldn't be so quick to label her as the crazy girl from district five.
No, she was more than that.
The Capitol had control.
And so did she.
She was ready to use that control against them, had built it up enough to stay steady on her feet.
She had no one left to live for but herself.

((So did I.....but I'm glad she didn't =D))
