Chelsea, I have read the first one before but didn't get to read the rest. it's been so long now that I wanted to reread this one before the rest of the series. I'm so glad to hear it's all good! which is your favorite in the series?
Oh wow, I totally forgot about how disturbing the autopsy scene in the first part of the book was. It didn't bother me as much this second time reading it, but I remember feeling sick to my stomach over the autopsy description during my first read through. What about everyone else? Did anyone else find the first chapter a little more icky than they typically like?
** For anyone who hasn't started reading and prefers avoiding descriptions of dead bodies/yucky smells, you can totally skip the first chapter and still understand what's happening in the book**

**SPOILERS from Chapter Four***
Question: In chapter four, Nathaniel tells Audrey to be sure to place a stick upon the windowsill in the drawing room. Does anyone know what this is about? Or did I miss something? All I could come up with is that he's reminding her to put a stick there so she doesn't get stuck outside when she tries to sneak back in... or it's a threat that he'll remove the stick so she gets caught???
