wip: first impressions ~ alice is bubbly and trustworthy-seeming, but often avoids questions about her past and underland's history. people assume she doesn't like thinking about her exile. she often asks intrusive questions and loves to talk . . . but rarely mentions anything personal about herself. alice is flirtatious and people get confused as to whether she is hitting on them or not. she appears air headed and ditzy and people often ignore all the strange things she says. people often get offended at her for saying rude things, but she's just not the best at socializing, right?

her deeper character ~ whenever alice gets in relationships they often end poorly given her constant lying and secrets kept. she doesn't let people in so easily. she can lie surprisingly well (and does often, sometimes for no reason at all) and behaves impulsively. she's curious and often pushes people to the limit for only a bit of information. often she acts confident and happy, but she's constantly seeking assurance and validation in little ways. she desperately wants to leave underland and would do *anything* to escape . . . it doesn't matter the cost.

wip, may drastically change later on: alice had a great, loving relationship with her older sister, lorina liddell (not to be confused with my second character btw). she had a perfect family, a perfect life. too bad she suffocated her. minutes afterwards, alice was sent down to underland for the reason "breaking the code". much different from "murder". and has been living there ever since.

wip: first impressions ~ lorina's sweet and loving towards others, especially alice (even though others advise against it). she takes on a leadership role and often is clear headed and open minded, ready to help others at any moment.

her deeper character ~ she desperately wants to redeem her comrades and is constantly trying to drive them towards good, though her efforts are sometimes in vain. she's often anxious and assumes that the worst has happened and can get panicked at times. because of this, she's often trying to make everything perfect and make sure there are no flaws in her plans. lorina seems to be hiding something, always leaving at random times.

lorina's childhood was darker than others. at the age of 11, she was tasked with a duty so great that it held the fate of the universes within its hands. and she's nearly failed . . . because she lost a key item when she was 12. the other items were too powerful and killed her parents, so lorina didn't have a home to go to. she'd since been searching for the item, knowing that chaos would ensue if she didn't return it soon enough. now that she's 24, she thinks she might just know where it is. when lorina came to underland, no one questioned her refusing to state why she was there. a lot of people didn't want to admit their crimes.

on a not as life threatening note, lorina has also been deeply questioning her sexuality. ever since she was young, she's felt an attraction only to girls and never to men. given the time period, this is unheard of and so she's kept these emotions to herself. after all, who would want to be sent to the asylum? but the rules in underland don't exactly apply to the other worlds. maybe she'll find acceptance . . .
