Body positivity is very important to me and something I work on constantly. I'm very happy to join in on reading these books. I'm able to get two of them from my library

PREACH!! This is such as smart way of looking at it. I am terrible at running but love track! One of my best friends is the best runner I know and she loves doing it. I've always loved Blogilates and your right about the eating what you need thing. You seem to be really educated... I'm also around your age group and can totally understand!!

Many of you are asking about male activism as well. So take your time and look at it here:
Body positivity holds against no gender and neither does body shaming. I found this really important to share recently because a student at my school was caught body shaming and is now suspended (but that's another story)! Anyway humans alike suffer from insecurity, we suffer from hating ourselves, and being jealous of others. A lot of this is caused by body image issues.
I once read a book that in NO WAY WOULD I EVER say aloud in case someone decided to read it out of curiosity, but the book's main point was there are 3 categories; pretty, perfect body, and smart. You can also be a hybrid and fit in multiple, but there are some people who have none of these attributes and they are less. Which is so untrue... I'm not gonna say anything else cause I see I got a lot of people curious and I don't need all of you to find the book.
Anyways you are perfect just the way you are! I don't care if you are short, tall, fat, skinny, very skinny, very fat, what is considered by society the perfect size, no abs, only abs, half abs, broad shoulders, teeny shoulders, acne, what is considered by society as perfect skin, long straight hair, long curly hair, curly hair, straight hair, wavy hair, ski slope nose, bumped nose, etc. You might think I'm crazy, but these are all problems people think they have. But every part of them is perfect.
So over the next couple months work with me to read through our insecurities following the following chart (see what I did there)!!
The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things ~ June 7th- June 14th
What I Like About Me ~ June 16th- June 23rd
45 Pounds ~ June 25th- July 2nd
This is all we will currently have... once we notice people joining we will add the other books to the list! Because we have yet to read, you can start by commenting affirmations to the other person behind the screen. We are all going through something!!
