Emary Hello, all you established and aspiring authors! I'm so happy to be a mod in this group, and I'm grateful I have been asked to create this folder!

Look, I wouldn't say I'm an expert on writing. I'm not. Sure, I've written many short stories, essays, and a novel. Those are all great, but I'm not so experienced that I can tell you everything you need to know. I'll try my best to help you in your journey, though! It's a great feeling to finish a story (especially a full-on book!), so I want to help you get there.

But I can help you in many ways. I'm a teen, so for all you fellow teen aspiring authors, we can band together to help each other. I know all the doubts you must have, the anxieties you must face, but let me just remind you that age is just a number! You got this! There's no stopping you!

But when I say age is just a number, that means you are already smart and fully capable of doing things that adults can (especially through writing a book). It does not mean there's no learning left. You can still learn a ton! When writing your stories, do research and keep learning!

With all that said, I'd be happy to give you ANY advice. I've helped a variety of fellow aspiring authors on Goodreads, and they've seemed to appreciate my help and feedback. All you need to do is asked! If it's more private, feel free to PM me! But just know that you are most likely not the only person with the question. If it's for your specific story, okay! I totally get that too!

On here, make sure to be respectful of other people's opinions, and don't get on them for asking what you might think is a "stupid" question. No questions are stupid because you had to learn the answers to them at some point! Keep asking, keep receiving feedback, and write! Do that thing that's supposed to be FUN. Writing is fun! The minute it becomes more of a job, resort back to how you felt when it was FUN!!! You got this!!!!!!!!
