Feel free to share your first impressions as you start to read Dear Edward

I haven't even heard of this. I just put "Edward" in the search bar and clicked "title only." I'll have to see if the library has it. Making us work again!

It has been a fairly popular title the past few years. I think it may have been a Goodreads Choice Awards nominee. It was easy to find through Overdrive for me - I hope you have the same luck!

I downloaded the audiobook, so I'll start as soon as I finish my current audio.

I am doing audio as well - I started last night, and it did draw me in! But, I am going to have to revisit a lot of it because I was tired and started to doze. But, it has been interesting enough that I don't mind revisiting it!

Over my lunch walk I re-listened to most of the beginning of this book. The characters are interesting and the story intriguing. My heart has already broken a few times! I think this is going to be a great book!

Oh, I have had this one on my list for a bit. I will have to see if I can get it and join in.

Awesome! Hoping I am getting back in the reading and book club groove - and I need all the help I can get!

I started this one (on audible as well) and i am enjoying getting to know the characters. I think it is tense because we know what the event is and the outcome for everyone, but we are just waiting for it to happen.
I don't like the "after" sections as much. Edward's aunt and uncle haven't grown on me yet. And I don't know what to think about the neighbors yet.
Overall a strong start.
