The only clues I got from his point of view is the killer had a vendetta. For most of the story, I thought it was someone associated with the Heathcrest Academy maybe a student. The only clue that held to the end was the person was a little crazy with misdirected anger.
No, not really. The only thing I picked up on was lots of anger and that the killer truly believed, however mistaken, that he was right in what he was doing.
Yes, I don't think the killer was directly mentioned till towards the end. Just someone who had a vendetta against Gordon Cordell. The Heathcrest connection was totally a red herring.
I also picked up on the anger and also that it probably had nothing to do with the Society or Cordell’s illegal abortions practice. Otherwise, I was clueless.
