I got 3 out of 6 that you got.

I looked at the Survive the Night but it sounded a little ridicules to me. I mean.... who takes a ride from someone they don't know these days.... said no one.

It's been a while since I've read a thriller. The promise of many twists and turns was alluring...

message 12: by Ann (new)

Ann Straight | 5 comments Just received "We are the Bremnens"; 40 pages in and think it is much better than I expected for character development. I am wondering how the plot will build. I start each book with a three star and see if I add or subtract as I read: this book is learning to the + side.

( I am on the library wait list for the other books. None of the selections grabbed me this month. I am curious if any of them are good or if my mood is just sour.)

message 15: by E. (new)

E. Talbot | 2 comments This is my first month with BOTM, and I chose The People We Keep. I'm trying to broaden the horizons of what I normally read, but now I'm in a real tizzy since I've just started The Dark Tower series as well. Can't wait to spend July juggling my growing TBR list.
