Darling - this is less scary than traditional thrillers but it's a good one for anyone who wants to step their toes into this genre!
I read more mysteries than thrillers but a good girls guide to murder is a pretty awesome mystery/ thriller.
The book You is a must read! The Tv show on Netflix is based off of it and it’s definitely one of my favorite books of all time
I just started reading thrillers this year and I really enjoyed The Wife Upstairs! It's a retelling of Jane Eyre in a modern setting and right off the bat it was unsettling (but in a good way, it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time), fast-paced, and it definitely helps that the chapters are short so it keeps you wanting to read more.I'll probably write a review on it soon since I'm going through and slowly adding reviews for the books I read this year too so I'll probably post the review in the Reviews thread when I finish it!
Hello, I really want to get into this genre and I’ve read some good ones before. But It’s been too long and I’m too afraid to read one now because it’s often -
Too long and descriptive
Difficult to read
80% personal drama
Too Slow paced
Too predictive
I will be really grateful if someone can recommend something for a beginner reader and preferably a short-medium read.

Murder at Hatteras is a mystery/thriller set in the outer banks and is one of the first books I've read to give me the heebee-jeebies! It does mention (view spoiler) just to warn yall! And it also involves religion but I wouldn't classify it as a religious book if that makes sense!
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is mystery-thriller enjoyed it so much ✨ and probably Lovesickness by Junji Ito and his other works but it is more of a horror though
