Aurora walked onto the balcony. She had seen the man go this way. Aurora’s tail brushed over the ground lightly.

Seraph stood in the center of the pillars, his cold eyes roaming over the realm of the Goddess of Innocence. Usually nothing ever truly chaotic resides in her domain, but this party brought a sort of uncertainty. If anyone was allowed to enter, then surely the more darker, powerful entities would be invited. He knew nothing of the Goddess of Innocence, nor did he really want to. She was obviously naive, allowing the evil to terroize her realm. Sure, she had her handful of guards, but what could they do with a more destructive sense of evil. The party had him unnerved. His head tilted to the side, his feline neon eyes glowing from the moonlight hitting them so perfectly. Upon hearing someone enter, but quickly dismissed it when the girl decided to leave. He wasnt here for socializing or making friends. His duty remained to protecting his Goddess, and unfortunately the rest of the people that attended the party.

"Seraph." Astraea said, the light haired goddess coming up behind him. "Somehow I sort of expected to see you up here.." She chuckled softly, standing next to the arch angel. The sun had set, and slowly one by one the stars had begun to light up the night sky. It was breathtaking. The castle itself was rather ostentatious but this part was innocent. It was beauty. She placed her hand on his shoulder to guide herself. It was a little known fact amongst the mortals that the goddess was blind. As all innocent things were. The gods however were aware. And tried their best to help her not get into trouble. She smiled at him. "Not a party person, I presume?"

"Isnt that obvious." He grated rather rudely, although a divine and pure creature from the heavens. Seraph rarely proved to anyone that he was innocent like the Goddess currently beside him was. By nature, he was still humble and well mannered toward women, although his way of speaking outwayed it heavily. So, he remained still as she used him as a sort of guiding rail. Wrapping his arm gently around her waist to guide her closer to where he stood. Then immediately released her when the deed was done. "I dont like this uncertainty. It was naive of you to try to see the good in all things." The feeling remained wrapped around his mind, although there was no evil that walked the entry of the gates yet. Something sooner or later was about to begin. "You may have your ideals on people, but some never change. But as a Goddess, and I, a simple weapon to clean up the mess. Im sure you're aware, that you dont have to listen to a word I say." Seraph was still skeptical on the idea of gods being good. But he didnt help save the relams because the Goddess who saved him from his demonic ways made him choose a side. He did it for his own judgement, as he did in the past.

"You might be my subject, Seraph but don't forget just how much I respect you." She reached her hands out, feeling for a pillar. She pressed her hand on it and then turned herself towards him. "It doesn't hurt to try your best to see the goodness in people, you know. Sometimes you'd be surprised but what you find. I mean, you surprised me in your own little way too." A pretty song had begun to play inside, filling the air outside with it's sweet rhythms. "You shouldn't be so tense. I've got many guards guarding my palace in case something does go awry. And I doubt that it will. Can't the subjects of the realms come together to enjoy one night in peace?" She smiled up at him, tapping his shoulder and pushing it down. He really was quite tense. Almost like he was waiting for something to happen.

He brushed aside her convictions to try and appease his feelings of doom. Turning to face the Goddess, her words clearly flaring his temper. "Forgive me, Astraea, but your sight is not the only thing thats been blinded." Having cleared the path for the side of 'Good' for billions of centuries, perhaps nearly his whole existence. There was always a time where he thought somethings could change. If he had stumbled in the process of his termination on threats to mankind. Maybe he would have discovered the goodness in people, but just as easily that goodness she spoke so highly of. Could easily be manipulated into something much more sinster for more insidious entities. And although he was powerful, he wasnt a God, he'd declined from becoming a God. His fall from the heavens made him see the true terror of darkness. The amazing abilities that came with it. Yet, he refused it all because Amterasu had convinced him that he was needed by the Gods. Astraea had- whenever he was by her side, calmed his inner demons. But, no matter what, they were still there, haunting him, reminding him of what he willing refused. Hunting the wicked appeased him more then he would readily admit. Was being so cruel his only salvation of protecting everything? "When the malice comes to your party, Goddess. I will lay down my life to be able to protect Amaterasu, you, and all the people seeking refuge in this castle. I've done it so many times before." He layed his hand on her shoulder for a brief second. "But you will not be able to persuade me into thinking people are good, when you have so many guards stationed for this party. You know perfectly well that the threat of evil still remains. There will always be someone lurking in the shadows." He turned away from the balcony, leaving the Goddess to her thoughts. The door closing behind him with a loud click.

((Just imagine how ticked hes gonna be when sebastian gets here. Especially if Seb hurts either of the two goddesses Seraph clearly cares for *smh*)

Aurora walked onto the balcony in a bad mood. Aurora’s tail whisked over the ground. Snow sat next to her.

message 9: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Kalil walked onto the balcony, spotting Aurora and Snow. He breathed in the fresh air, which immediately began to calm him.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora sighed quietly and sat on the railing. Snow hopped up to sit next to her. Aurora’s tail rested on the railing.

message 11: by Alexandria (last edited Jul 09, 2021 03:24PM) (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Kalil walked over to Aurora. "Sorry about getting so upset about your fox in there," he told her. "I just don't like being attacked. I shouldn't have snapped at you about it. If you don't mind me asking though, why did she seem so upset with me?"

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora looked at him “I don’t know. I guess I’ve been upset with some things. I’m not a person who likes stuff like this.” Aurora said waving her tail around. Snow nodded.

message 13: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) "Balls? Social events?" Kalil asked. "Me neither. I only came because my sister wanted to and I didn't want her to come alone. I tend to feel trapped at gatherings like these, to be honest, but I needed to come to protect my sister. To keep her safe. If she hadn't wanted to come, I wouldn't be here. Why did you come?"

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora flicked her tail “I wanted to see this place. You’re lucky to have a sister. I don’t have one.” Aurora said and dug her claws into the ground. Snow wagged her tail.

message 15: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Kalil shrugged. "I guess," he answered. "The worst part is being responsible for her. She can be annoying sometimes." Kalil looked at the sky. "Would you like to meet her? My sister?"

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora perked up “Yes! I’d like to meet her!” Aurora said. Snow barked happily.

message 17: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Kalil smiled. "Great," he told her. "Should I bring her out here, or do you want to go inside? She should be wandering the ballroom looking for people to meet. She'd be excited to meet you."

(( alicia remember 3+ lines honey ))

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora flicked her tail “I’m staying out here. Don’t try convincing me. I’m very stubborn.” Aurora teased. Snow barked again

message 20: by Alexandria (last edited Jul 09, 2021 03:53PM) (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Kalil shrugged. "I'll be right back then," he said. "You sound just like my sister," he said before walking back into the ballroom.

He came back a couple minutes later, his younger sister following him. She looked at Aurora. "Hello," she said, smiling. "My brother said you wanted to meet me?"

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora flicked her tail “Yes. I’m Aurora Snowfox and this is Snow, my spirit animal.” Aurora said. Snow barked cheerfully.

message 22: by Alexandria (last edited Jul 09, 2021 03:57PM) (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Amira smiled. "Nice to meet you." She glanced from Kalil to Aurora. "How do you know my brother?" she asked.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

Snow wagged her tail “I met your brother in the ballroom.” Aurora said. Snow jumped down and barked up at Amira

message 24: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Amira lowered her brows. Kal actually talked to someone? Amira looked down at Snow. "Hi," she said to the fox.

Kalil looked at his sister. "Enjoying the ball, Mira?" he asked.

Amira nodded. "Thanks for letting me come, Kal," she said. "Being cooped up in a palace with very few people to talk to gets boring after a while."

Kalil nodded.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Snow wagged her tail and jumped up. “Snow likes you. A lot.” Aurora said, watching Snow bounce around. Snow barked again.

message 26: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) "Aww," Amira said. "I like Snow too." Amira looked at Aurora. "How long have you and Snow known each other?"

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Snow wagged her tail “Since I was cursed to be a half fox.” Aurora said. Aurora’s tail flicked.

message 28: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) "Cursed?" Amira asked, immediately curious. "How?" Kalil glanced over as well, but quickly glanced at the sky.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora’s tail stopped moving “This isn’t easy for me. I was three years old when I was cursed. My parents immediately threw me out. I lived on the streets, alone. I learned how to survive.” Aurora said. Snow nodded.

message 30: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Kalil listened to Aurora, relating to her on some level. He had never been thrown out by his parents, but his father had hated him since he was pretty much born and treated him horribly at a very young age.

"Why were you cursed?" Amira asked.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora flicked her tail “I don’t know.” Aurora said. Snow whimpered slightly.

message 32: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) "Really?" Amira said. "You've been cursed since you were an infant, and you don't even know why?"

"Don't you want to find out?" Kalil asked.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora’s tail went up. “Absolutely not. It’s suicide to do that!” Aurora said. Snow lashed her tail.

message 34: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) "Why's that?" Amira asked. "I know that if it was me, I'd want to find out as much as possible."

"Most people aren't as obstinate as you, Mira," Kalil said.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora sighed “I was cursed by a man. I didn’t know who he was.” Aurora said. Snow barked.

message 36: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Amira looked at Aurora. "That must stink," she said. "Being cursed and thrown out, even if it wasn't your fault."

"Not all parents should be parents," Kalil said, lowering his voice. He looked at his sister. "You of all people should know that, Mira."

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora looked to the north “As much as I want to continue, I can’t. Two of my friends are in danger.” Aurora said and shifted into a large fox. Snow hopped over to her as Aurora dipped her head to them and jumped off the railing.

message 38: by Alexandria (last edited Jul 10, 2021 04:54PM) (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) "Do you want help?" Amira called to her over the railing. She didn't want anything to happen to Aurora. She seemed nice, and she must've been a good enough person to get her brother to talk.

Kalil, meanwhile, wanted to help Aurora, but he didn't. There was a lot to do at the palace, and he figured he wouldn't be much use anyway. Not with a crippled leg.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora looked up at them and nodded. Snow barked at them, bouncing up and down. Aurora’s tail whisked.

message 40: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) ((Now what?))

Amira looked at Kalil. "Go get Izara," she said. "We can't leave her alone."

Kalil went into the ballroom, coming out soon after with Izara, who looked down at Aurora.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

(Hm...)
Aurora waved her tail at them. Snow jumped around, barking. Aurora’s tail twitched.

message 42: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) ((My thoughts exactly. Whatever you want to do is fine with me))

Amira, Kalil, and Izara made their way toward Aurora and Snow. Kalil lagged slightly behind due to his leg.

"Where are we going?" Amira asked. She was suddenly in serious mode. She was ready for whatever happened. She had stored two daggers in her dress prior to the ball just in case she needed them.

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora fluffed up her fur “Get on.” Aurora said. Snow nodded.

message 44: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Amira stared at Aurora. "You can carry all three of us?" she asked, staring at her. She messed with her hair, pushing it out of her face. Kalil caught up to them.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora nodded. Her tail swished quietly. Snow barked loudly.

message 46: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) The three of the quickly got onto Aurora. Kalil rode in the back to make sure no one fell off. He held his staff in his lap. Izara sat in the front.

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

Aurora ran off, moving faster than any fox could move. Snow raced along beside her. Aurora’s tail whisked.

message 48: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) ((What happens now?))

Kalil, Izara, and Amira held on tight. Kalil kept his eye on Amira to make sure she didn't fall off. The last thing he needed was for his sister to get injured because she fell off a shape-shifting fox.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

(Let me think...)
Aurora paused and leaped over the wall. Snow jumped over as well. Aurora’s tail swished.

message 50: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria K (percabethprincess8729) Kalil grabbed Amira's arm so she wouldn't fall. He looked up at the sky, taking a deep breath. The air was refreshing and rejuvenating.
