Hi Im Bea! I live in the US. I don't think Ive ever read as much as I currently am so all things Bookish are fairly new to me. I enjoy YA, Fantasy, and Romance books. But I'll read any genre with good LGBT rep. My favorite reads new of 2021 are Criers War, Priory of the Orange Tree, Iron Widow, Malice, and Ace of Spades. Current reads are like 7 or 8 different books lol.
Hey Moka/ Audrey (I didn’t know what to call you). Can you tell me what language you’re speaking?😊
Oh, it’s Croatian! I’m Croatian! But, I live in California.
hey guys! i'm ibana, 20, from maldives. i just finished reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (My Review) but some of my 2021 favourites are:1. A Dowry of Blood: a gothic vampiric story with a poly lgbt relationship
2. Obit: a nonfiction poetry collection where the author deals with grief related to her parents

Sophie, you know, you could pin this topic so it always stays at the top of the discussion board.
Hello! My name is Ella and I wrote a book called The Garden Warrior. (You can buy it on Amazon in a kindle version or paperback. I would really appreciate your support!)I especially love fantasy books, but I am also a lover of realistic fiction, science fiction, mystery, and horror! If you hand me a book, there is a high chance that I will read it!
I am so excited to be in this group and talk about books! Thanks to everyone who put it together!
Bok! Dobrodošli u Book Nerds! Ja i ostali modovi se nadamo da ćete se lijepo provesti!
Hi, my name is Anna or you can call me Kiyoko. I live in Hanoi, Vietnam too. I like to read horror, detective and books with a bit of comedy.
Hi, everyone! I'm Alexandria, but you can call me Lexi or Alexie (if that gets too confusing with the other Lexie, you can just call me Alexandria or Andy). I'm fine with any nickname given to me except Alex. I'm 18. I'm a self-taught writer, self-taught artist (fine artist kind, like drawing and painting, though I draw more), blogger, self-taught dancer, and reader.
Thanks for inviting me, Rey! =D

Np! Also, do you actually like Alexie? I was the one who gave you the nickname, right?

I'm fairly certain. Over on Naomi Lord Art Academy? I thought it was you, but Daphne was also mod, so I didn't know if it was her (but that doesn't fully make sense since I haven't really interacted with her). Yeah, I like it. My family has never called me that. I've been called Zannie (though that's for certain family members only, I've moved on from always being called that), Yaya, Lex (which I'll also accept, but forgot to mention above), Lexi, Andy (as a joke by my sister but it didn't bother me), and Alex (but not pronounced like standard Alex; my sister pronounces it how the x is pronounced in Spanish [al-eh-keese]; only my sister is allowed to call me that)

Yeah, it was me. I named all the mods.
Hey everyone! Thanks so much for the invite! I’m Em and I’ve been reading for as long as I can remember. I love reading fantasy, contemporary, mystery, and romance. A majority of the books I read are YA, but sometimes I read middle grade or adult. Other hobbies of mine include singing, rock climbing, and hiking.

bookworm! Like, for real. And when I usually read some pages of a book and don’t have a bookmark , I’ll use anything around me. A ruler, a pen, a popsicle stick (that have been washed) and many more.
I started reading books when I’m 6-8 years old. I like reading genres like fantasy and fiction. Books that are fiction but like historical fiction, well, I may reluctantly pick it up somehow.
Usually, I would just look at the cover. “Don’t judge a book by its cover” is my saying or maybe everybody else’s too!
