I started reading the first one because my 11 year old daughter wanted to read this, so I started ahead of her to make sure it was not too adult for her. Sadly it was not acceptable for an 11 year old, but I found the book to be easy to read and a real page turner. The sequel does not live up to the first book, but is still a page turner and an easy read.
