Chapter 3 seems the have the introduction of all the characters - quite an avalanche of characters, really!

I really like Anna. I am imagining a young Holly Hunter.

Great description - I can definitely see that. She is rough around the edges/no nonsense so if I was picking someone to play her it would be a "tough" actress. Maybe Jodie Foster would be another option.

Foster would be good! I think of someone pretty, but tough, with a voice to match.

I love Linda Cardellini! She would be good. Velma, but grown up, right?

Sure - but a bit rougher and not quite as nerdy.

I finished and ended up enjoying it.

It is challenging to keep up with characters when you listen to an audiobook. I was unsuccessful finding any written description of the characters.

Kandice, did you mean Christine? Hmm, if so, I didn’t get that vibe. I think she really just needed a friend, as her sister stated. Sometimes a friend relationship is pretty intense.

I did mean Christine. I'm anxious to find anyone that has read more of this series to find out.

I enjoy the relationships that develop in series like this. While the first book did not blow me away, I am looking forward to reading more to see how the characters and their relationships develop.
