Ryu's face was just as shielded as ever, his titanium enchanted helmet swaying faintly as he walked. A loud scraping sound accompanying him as his breaker sword scratched against the asphalt of the city. It was unusually dark. Even more so than it was at night. And quiet, besides the metallic screeching. Ryu acted as though he weren't privy to this, when in fact, he himself found this rather strange. Though he said nothing. As usual. He wondered what his son was doing. Among many other things as well, his mind was always racing. That's what he got for being the first Horseman.
The Hermit knelt Quietly upon his perch, watching as darkness descended into the town. His golden eyes of accursed shadows looked around the city and into the buildings, searching for the source of the elusive scraping. The wind rustled his black hair and caused the threads in his red cloak to dance behind him, his hood drawn back to reveal a face with a single mark along his right cheek.
His left hand rested on the hilt of his sword as his right crossed his raised leg, a crumpled letter held limply in his fingers.
It was a sudden stop of the scraping that seemed to halt every single small sound. Even the rustling of the wind came to an abrupt stand still. A few seconds later, a warping sound made way towards the Hermit. Similar to a stick being whipped back and forth through the air, but much louder, and much more metallic. It was the breaker sword, it was coming at The Hermit alarmningly fast. One could not catch a sword of that massive size without being the size of Ryu himself. It was custom to a demi god like him.
As The Hermit looked around and The sounds froze, he listened as a whirling noise increased in volume before realising it's target. Causing the roof beneath his feet to collapse he fell, the attack sailing just above his head.Launching through and shattering the window infront of him The Hermit fell to the floor, landing amidst a wind of his own calling as the glass landed around him.
where did that come from? he asked himself, eyes darting around the empty town. He knew this was no ordinary person but he also knew.........
This would be fun.
Ryu's held a hand out, and a brief vibration noise emitted from the swords handle before it swung forward once more towards the Hermit, but was just a little bit off and flew over his hood, cutting the very tip of it. It made it's way back to Ryu, who was now standing at the side of the building, his helmet tilted upwards, indicating he was staring up at The Hermit.
(I said his hood was pulled back)Upon Hearing the Vibration The Hermit looked around for it's Origen but failed to identify it until he felt the breath of wind upon his neck and turned sharply to see the fleeing sword return to who he assumed was it's owner.
The man obviously wielded vast power and The Hermit should plan his next move but then again, planning wasn't really his style.
<< FUAH. *BUAH. Disregard that plez. >>
For several moments Ryu stood there. Who is this poser? Ryu thought. Despite being excessively mature in disposition... and wise... He was incredibly childish by nature. And judgeful as well. He'd never admit that though. His eyes scanned the man slowly before he threw his sword once more, but not at The Hermit, rather, the floor below him, knocking down all of the walls below it, and ultimately making the floors above collapse before retrieving the breaker sword steadily.

The Hermit sat there waiting about to speak as the sword was thrown, causing the floor to give way as he descended. Manipulating the stone and wind he bounced from collapsing rubble to collapsing rubble until he stood amidst the piled heap that use to be the building."That could've hurt you know." The Hermit called out in a deep voice but with a childish tone, wiping the dust and dirt from his red cloak with graceful aggression.
Arrogant poser. he thought not moving in reaction to him. "That was the point" he said non chalantly. His voice was deep. He had an etheral look to him, even with his helmet on. Every feature on him was maticulous, every aspect seemed to impossibly perfect. He glared up at him. Waiting for him to say something stupid, so that he could turn the asshat into dog food.
"And that's why I like you now." Te Hermit said as he propelled himself off of the rubble heap and down onto the abandoned road, looking at this man as his left hand was again rolled onto the pummel of his sword. His right hand fell into the pocket of his pants as he stood there, seeming to admire the one who attempted to take his life.
Ryu swung the sword over his shoulder, smashing the ground with the very tip and sending The Hermit flying backwards a few feet. He didn't like the thought of anyone being closer than twelve feet. "Who are you?" he demanded sternly.
The Hermit braces as the sword slammed into the ground, lessening the damage of any rubble to hit him however he was still winded as several large rocks slammed into his stomach."Someone you don't like breathing apparently." The Hermit managed to say between gasps of Air while standing back up from his slumps position, if this turned ugly The Hermit would use the Flight instead of fight tactic here.
"Not that. I don't like bystanders. Or company." he gribbed the handle of his sword. "Who are you?" he asked once more, his voice never changing.
The Hermit looked at him and smirked, a little too proud of himself with arrogance. He considered lying but decided against it, that would be a very poor decision with no benefit to him after all."I'm the Hermit, traveler and information Collector. From what I can guess by your appearance and that sword you're Ryu the Demi God, I've heard rumours about you." He answered, skipping any further needless introductory if he was correct.
The Hermits left hand waltzed on the swords hilt as his eyes watched for sudden movements.
<< Ohkoi >.< >>
Ryu raised an eyebrow. A knowledgable, arrogant poser. he thought. "I don't know what you're talking about." he said simply, with a montone voice, his head tilting to the side very slowly, as if to mimic one who was confused.

"Of course not...." The hermit said as he slowly turned around, his left hand leaving his sword before running through his hair. Swiftly turning as The Hermit's hand leapt from his pocket, throwing three darts. One headed to Ryu's left leg, another at his right shoulder and the third at his left shoulder.
"…...why would you?" He asked as he slowly stood upright once more, his hand returning to his pocket and sword as he watched how the man reacted.
Ryu didn't move. He didn't need to. For as soon as the darts reached him, they all stopped in place. As if they were defying gravity itself. He furrowed his eyebrows faintly, levitating one over to himself and glaring at the tip, "What are these pesky little things?" he muttered.
"Darts, their used to show skill and accuracy with various games." The Hermit answered as he waved his free hand and the darts flew back to his palm softly before he placed them back in his pocket."They also have evidence to my guess, even with infected abilities stopping three of them would be challenging." The Hermit said, considering he had used his own elemental manipulation to increase the effectiveness of the darts.
"Okay. Your guess being?" he asked simply, not seeming at all put off by The Hermit's "evidence gathering". In fact, he hated to admit it, but he actually found The Hermit rather charming.
"You are someone I don't want to get on the bad side of." The Hermit said with a smug grin and a shrug of his shoulders with closed eyes, completely honest as to his inferiority without a single hesitation."So what can I do to humble one such as yourself?" He asked as he placed one arm across his chest and bowed towards Ryu with upmost respect, also a willingness not to die.
Ryu stared at him silently for a few seconds. "I wouldn't know. I usually kill people I meet by now. This is a first." he replied montonously.
"I'm usually running from someone who want's me dead so the feelings mutual." The Hermit said in response, both of them were in a position they weren't use to. Perhaps the Hermit has another possible Whistle participant?
Ryu tilted his head, "So... sorry? For throwing a giant sword at you." he murmured quietly, not knowing what else to say. He never really wanted to kill all the time. He didn't have any friends.. so it was sort of lonely.
"At least you missed, others haven't." The Hermit murmured as his left hand traced his cheek, running along the scar permantly marking him as he reminisced of the memory associated with it."But let's talk of other things." He said, suddenly chipper once more as he smiled brightly, not caring that he could have been killed repeatedly moments prior.
"What exactly "is" your sword? I've never seen one like it." The Hermit asked in confusion, he didn't like the feeling unless he was drunk.
<< Bombarded by posts. Making a character too. Didn't realize you replied. >>
"It is formally called, a Buster Sword." he replied, "But it's more than that. Might I ask what poison you've put on your darts?" he asked.
"It is formally called, a Buster Sword." he replied, "But it's more than that. Might I ask what poison you've put on your darts?" he asked.
"There is no poison on these darts, just my own blood." The Hermit confessed, once again seeing no harm in telling the honest truth. No one else understood why and believed he was lying though, most simply assume poisoning.
He didn't doubt it. Mostly because he was a little bit gullible. "Oh." he replied, tilting his head. "I don't quite understand why you would do that" he admitted.
"Would you like an explication?" The Hermit asked as he drew a dart out from his pocket, examining it closely.
"I wouldn't mind." he replied, his head turning faintly as he glanced to the left, averting his attention back to The Hermit.
"As you've realised I can manipulate variable elements, including those found within my blood. If my blood enters their body in anyway be it digestion or insertion I gain influence over their thoughts, making them more persuadable or fearful by suggestion." The Hermit explained, pretty much he became that persons conscience.
"Wow." was all he replied, his head tilting once more faintly as he thought about how shitty it'd be if The Hermit could get into his mind. The Hermit would probably have access to otherwordly information. To put it simply, he'd have access to the mind of a demi god.
"Pretty useful when you think about it." The hermit commented as he put the dart away, deciding not to tell Ryu it only worked one way. Te Hermit could send information to someone but can only receive where that person is like a tracking device.
Ryu could have read The Hermit's mind. But.. he ultimately decided against it. He had nothing against humanity. Well.. they probably had a lot against him, given he was the one who started this whole thing with the infection. But no, he actually kinda liked those squishy humans. "My name is Ryu." he finally admitted.
"I go by many names but mainly prefer Hermit." The Hermit said with a smile, reaching into one of his pockets and pulling out a whistle before tossing it over to Ryu.
Ryu stopped it in mid air, levitating it over to himself, raising an eyebrow, "What is this?" he inquired, looking over The Hermit suspisciously.
Ryu stared at him blankly, "No." he said. He hadn't ever gotten himself caught up in human affairs, they were to complicated. And to be honest, even all seeing had its limits, considering he could only see every event that would happen. Like a timeline. He never knew what would happen in the gaps though.

(Romour says he's recruiting a group called 'Crusaders' who are recognised by the personalised whistles they carry, why he gathers them no one is certain. Some say he has found the one's holding his parents, others say he's found their dead bodies. The main one is he's gathering specialists to try and take over this chaos driven order called a world, which one is right however is something I shall not tell at this moment.)The Hermit looked at Him, surprised. "You blow air into it and a normally sharp, piercing noise is created." He explained briefly.
"I know what a whistle is. I'm not a child. Allow to me elaborate, why are you giving me this?" he questioned once more.
<< Oh, if you want to make that a gang or a sub plot, you can go into the Character Creation and there should be Types of Humans. You can make the Crusaders a real thing and have The Hermit be the gang leader >>

"We're friends now, Aren't we?" The Hermit asked Rhetorically, half turning so that his right was facing Ryu. The Hermit looked off into the distance though, as if searching for something.(For all you know they could be commemorative friendship whistles, as I said the truth shall remain a lie for a while longer ;))
<< Chu always do that. I'm just sitting here in the corner, like, what the hell you mean? What the hell's goin on? >>
"Your parents." he said blankly. Ryu had turned left a bit earlier to back track The Hermit's steps. Reading his mind beforehand. Mostly just intentions, he wasn't nosy, but he also wasn't aman demigod, of many words. "They aren't here." he finished.

"please, no spoilers." The Hermit said as he rose his hand up to Ryu."i like to read the story of my life at my own pace." He said as he then lowered his hand and placed it back in his pocket.
(and that's the way i like it. XD what's the point of knowing if it doesn't affect anyone at the moment other than them having a whistle?)
"I'm not giving out... what did you call it? Spoilers. I'm simply giving you the information you were inevitably going to come across" he replied.
