Thorne scaled the dark alleyways carefully, sniffing the area, his wide eyes glowing blue under his hood. He never used them anymore. It was all intuition, instinct, and his other senses. He used his smell and taste to map out his entire surroundings. And right now, he was getting the smell of a semi armed guard. He crept up on the man quietly before letting out a growl and pouncing on him, managing to rip his throat out with a splurt, but not being able to dodge a bullet that landed in his arm. He winced at the pain. It was in a once major artery, so it would heal slower. But he didn't care. He was hungry.
Shiki slowly steps out from a corner in the alleyway, whiping blood off his mouth softly. He was in white pants and a white buttoned up fancy jacket. He then glances over towards Thorne and the man silently, seeming just like a shadow against the moon so the main thing that can be seen is his silver eyes that are brighter then the moon and his dark red-ish brown hair, making him look surprisingly attractive yet dangerous.
Thorne blinked when he sensed the presence of another, immediately jumping forward and holding the wound on his arm, growling visciously at Shiki, trying to scare him away from his territory, but finding himself whimpering in the middle of the growl once he had accidentally rubbed the wound a little bit wrong. Maybe it'd take a little longer to heal than he had originally estimated.
Shiki calmly sighs, seeming to have no fear as ge glances towards the moon, quietly murmuring,"You shouldnt move around.. If you dont remove the bullet, your wound wont heal.." His voice gave a spine chilling reaction as he slowly glanced back.
He blinked, glancing down at the wound. How would he even do that? He backed up faintly, running into the wall with a thud and swallowing. He sniffed the air. No one else was around. None of his kind at least. How would he call for help, his intimidation tactics were now replaced by primal fear.
Shiki sighs, shaking his head and walks up, pulling out the bullet before Thorne could even react, a sign that he did it where Thorne didnt feel him take it out. He then throws it, watching it get stuck in a wall before glancing back at him.
Thorne gasped, whimpering in surprise and pouncing away without looking, pouncing face first into a street light pole and falling unconscious.
Shiki blinks whispering,"The hell's wrong with him?" He then sighs and walks over, softly picking him up and carries him into an abandoned house thats boarded up, knowing for a fact no one was in there since he cleaned it out awhile ago.
A few hours later, Thorne is covered up in a warm bed with warm yet weak blood and some human meat, along wuth some water and bread just so Thorne can choose what to eat.
Shiki sits beside the bed, calmly sipping some liquid from a tea cup and staring outside.

Kiku walked carefully through the empty isolated alleyways of the Pyrolands. They were unfamiliar to herl. Unlike the crowded, prostitute filled alleyways of the Industrial District. But this is where the competition was, and she was a finalist. She just wanted to get in, get her money, and get the hell out of this place. She folded her arms, holding her unsheathed katana close. Her wolf ears perked up to catch any nearby movements.

Erek walked through the alleys, hands in his pocket. He saw the tournament and wall runned up to the roof and watched, cautiously
((Fixin it now)) Erek saw the girl walkin down the and wall runned to the roof. He didn't trust anyone in the pyrolands, he only came here to loot and scout, he watched her cautiously, claws ready
Kiku quickly shifted her head to him, her copper eyes easily scoping him on the roof, catching the light that gleamed off of his steel blade claws. She glared at him, and held eye contact steadily, not knowing what to do.
Erek thought to himself shit, she spotted me. He shouted down to her "Hey there! You aren't going to kill me are you?"
She kept a deadpan expression, spinning in his direction and furrowing her eyebrows, "I don't know, are you going to kill me?" she demanded sternly, her short hair fluttering as she moved. And the stern voice just made her sound cute.
"Well that depends-" he said moving
She tracked his every move, her eyes glowing a bit brighter, her canines petruding over her bottom lip. She held her katana defensively, "On what?" she demanded.
"If you're going to kill me" he said landing
"Well that's not very nice!" He said putting his claws away. "What's your name?"
"Kiku" she said simply, refusing to give her surname or middle name. She glanced behind her before averting her attention back to him.
"I'm Alek" he reached out to shake hands
She glanced down at his hand, her eyebrow twitching faintly as she sniffed, taking it and shaking it cautiously.
"So what are you doing here?" Alek asked politely
"Tournament? What tournament? I wanna join!" Alek said excitedly
"You have to have been in the one in the Industrial District last month. It's the world series" she muttered.
"Oh. What's the grand prize?" Alek said disappointed
Alek said groaningly "Lame. You come to the pyrolands much?" Alek said
"I hardly trust anyone here. Though if the rumors in the Ecolands are true, I guess I would've liked it here" he said, glossing over the rumor
"People say that because I found a picture of my parents here, that I don't have a kinetic, and that I look nothing like my parents, that-" he mumbled something
She glared at him, reaching forward and grabbing his collar, "I really don't give a fuck! But if you want my opinion, I would say that you shouldn't believe them, because you're perfect the way you are, and so what if you don't have powers? BUT THAT'S JUST HYPOTHETICAL!" she growled, throwing him back and looking down, blushing. She never knew how to talk to people without being agressive.
"But the thing is-" Alek said calming her down "-I once lit my claws on fire. With nothing!" He whispered
She blushed harder, folding her arms, not minding her long sleeves, "That doesn't mean anything! You're completely fine! And if anyone says otherwise then you fucking punch them!" she growled.
"Thanks Kika. So when's your tournament? I might come watch." Alek said
"Tomorrow." she muttered quietly, "I'm just.. looking for somewhere to go until then" she replied.
"I doubt you can find a place to stay, here in asshole-land" Alek said jokingly
"I might be able to persuade a motel keeper, or something, that I'm a Pyrokinetic, if I can make a fire." Alek said
((He does he just doesn't know it))
((Well he kinda knows, he just needs to prove it to himself and whoever running the motel or whatever))
