~Challenge Details~

How to Win: Read the most books & Score the most points

About
This challenge completely centers around August’s BOTM, which is Children of Blood and Bone, and the themes of that book. You are tasked with finding and reading books whose titles start with each of the 22 letters in “Children of Blood and Bone.” You can gain extra points from finding books with similar themes.

Rules
1. Each book must start with one of the letters in “Children of Blood and Bone.”
2. Each book must be at least 200 pages.
3. To score theme points, you must tell in parentheses what the matching themes are.
4. Once you’ve read a book, it cannot be reread.
5. A book cannot be used for multiple letters.
6. You can only “repeat” prompt letters once you’ve gone through all of the letters in “Children of Blood and Bone” in full. (Example to come!)

Scoring Rules
1. Each book you read scores 1 point.
2. For each book that you identify the matching theme, you earn 2 additional points.
3. Page count does not earn extra points.
4. Once you complete the title, you will earn 15 completion bonus points.
5. For your second time through, each book you read will now be worth 2 points!

Scoring Summary

Page Count: 0 points
Title Completion: 15 bonus points

~Round 2~
Book: 2 points
Theme: 2 additional points
Page Count: 0 points
Title Completion: 20 bonus points

~Round 3~
Book: 3 points
Theme: 2 additional points
Page Count: 0 points
Title Completion: 25 bonus points

Book Logging Rules
1. Type out the title of the book, one letter per line, with an extra space between words. Include a dash after each letter.
2. Read books!
3. Log your books! Please include a link with your book! If you are unable to use the “add book/author” feature, please type the title of the book followed by the link.
4. If applicable, log the book themes! Themes go in parentheses!
5. If you get through all 22 letters, you may move on to Round 2. To do so, use 2 tildes (AKA squiggles), followed by the words “Round 2,” and ended with 2 more tildes. It will look like this: ~~Round 2~~

NOTE: It is highly recommended that you use either a PC or the Desktop Version on a phone! If you choose to use the app, it will be much harder! This is because you will have to edit your original post every time you go to log a book. If you opt to use the app, you will have to repost everything every single time!

Since Children of Blood and Bone has won the BOTM vote, I will use the runner up, which was The Wrath and the Dawn, for my example. The Wrath and the Dawn has 18 letters.

How To Sign Up
1. Type your name on the first line. On the second, type the date you signed up.
