Chicks On Lit discussion

Do we want to continue our group reads? If yes, can we pick something for August? Would someone like to suggest a category of book to focus on? Last month, when Renee suggested a classic, it made it easier to settle on a title. Or would you like to simply nominate a title as we had been doing?

Either works for me.

I am up for an August read too. I’ll nominate “Jack” by Marilynn Robinson.

That is a great nomination. I have read Gilead and Lila from that series, but not Home or Jack yet.

Irene, I am just finishing The Time of Man by Elizabeth Maddox Roberts for a live bookclub that meets on the 17th. Would you be able to start on the 18th? It looks like a short read do we could be finished by the end of the month.
