Play Book Tag discussion

Bree Cabbat has it all: a handsome lawyer husband, two energetic teenaged girls and a sweet baby boy. The night she awakens and sees a 'witch' peering through her bedroom window is the night Bree's perfect world began to shatter. Of course there was no witch and Bree shrugs it off as a trick of the light. A few days later Bree sees the same dark figure at her daughter's school during a play rehearsal. She only took her eyes of of her baby for a minute but in that minute the baby is gone and Bree knows that 'witch' has abducted him. A note left behind instructs Bree to go home immediately and not call the police. Once she returns home Bree receives a phone call from the woman telling Bree she only has to accomplish one small thing and then she will get her baby back. Bree agrees to do anything to get her child and what at first seems like an awful prank turns into something much, much worse. Bree is now complicit in a horrible crime which is just the first step in her living nightmare. A terrible secret from her husband's past threatens to destroy everything and everyone Bree loves.

This is an audio read by the author and she does a great job as usual. The story is suspenseful with characters you can root for. I'm not sure I'm a big fan of the epilogue but the story itself is a good one.

I read this one a few months ago. Quite chilling!
