Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I am trying to combine two different editions by Josh Bazell, because even if they are listed as separate works, they are actually the same book. I click the combine button on the author's profile, but it does nothing. Do I need special permissions? The books in question are Beat the Reaper and Esquivant la mort (L'ECLÈCTICA).

You need to be a librarian to edit books in the database.

I've added the missing info to the Catalan edition and its in the queue to be combined.
