I just finished the first eight chapters and I'm pretty sure I've busted both my lungs laughing

(view spoiler)[ Lou is such a chaotic little thing, I absolutely LOVE her chapters. I mean I do really like Reid's too, I just can't wait to see them MARRIED I MEAN how did that even happen. That was so fast haha.
And the worldbuilding AH so amazing, I'm loving this.

So I got a little late for the next 8 chapters but chapter 16

She makes me laugh so much, the dynamics she and Reid have just *chef's kiss*. I feel a little bad for Celie I guess but I don't really know her so. It's so easy to read with all that banter
AND I NEED BACKSTORY LOu why do you hate you mother who is coming to catch you who the hell are the ENEMIES.
AND AAHHH I so happy she found Coco, I was honestly a little sad she'd have to leave. Bas is an A- level idiot like always.
That Jean Luc tho..... he's giving me bad vibes with the whole envy thing. HE is the most pompous ass in a tower full of pompous asses *chuckles*
And ofc Big Titty Liddy I didn't think we'd actually get lyrics but HAHAHAHAHAHA Poor Ansel (hide spoiler)]

What chapter are you on now? I didn't discuss anything (sorry about that) because I didn't want to give spoilers if I was ahead of you.

Just finished Serpent and Dove and really like the character Lou and Reid. I am trying book 2 but so far its no where near book 1. If you have read book 2 I would like to hear your thoughts.

I haven't read book two yet, but I will after Serpent and Dove. I agree with you, Lou and Reid are wonderful characters in this book, I don't know about book two because it's almost always the case when the first book in a series is better than the sequel.

hmhm we're still on the first book but AGH I love Lou so much and Reid too and their chemistry id just so good, I'm a little scared for when he finds out tho

I'm on the " Of My Home" chapter, about 4 chapters before part 3

But anyways, (view spoiler)[ in the middle of the book, Lou asks Reid if he would burn her on the stake if she were a witch and he said yes, and I think that he doesn't believe at all that she's a witch otherwise he would've already burned her. I think Reid will go ballistic when/if he finds out about her true identity (hide spoiler)]

True, he doesn't seem to suspect at all, but I'm holding out hope for our lovely Chass, maybe he'll finally see that they're people too, because Lou is probably the most people-y person I've ever met, if you know what I mean...

Yeah, I know what you mean, lol. Lou is one of my favorite characters, she's really fun and exciting and Reid being around Lou has loosened him up and made him less serious all the time.
