English Translations of Scandinavian/Nordic Mysteries & Thrillers discussion

This is a book my daughter recommended to me. I've read the first 200 pages of it and I find it very funny in that it's about an Australian, who was in prison, escaped to India and all the different things that happened to him. It's written by the author who is a man and has his take on everything that happens. I have 733 pages to go but it is a very good book so far.
