I'm in chapter 6 (view spoiler)[ They just started discussing the book in book club and both authors have realized it has nothing to do with their books. Its rather entertaining really.
Also January seeing Sonya and running to hide and drink wine in the bathroom was interesting. Guess she somehow didn't expect to ever run into her in this small town... Although I dont know how. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah that would be hard (view spoiler)[ Would've been nice if she would've talked with Sonya to start clearing the air and all that. But I too get why she wasn't in a place she was able to do that. (hide spoiler)]
I'm up to chapter 9 now sorry I'm being a bit slow, haven't had as much ebook reading time as usual lately. (view spoiler)[Just got to them making their deal to write each others type of book instead of their own. Which should be entertaining. I also appreciated the Walk to Remember quote and everything at the end of chapter 8.

(view spoiler)[ The Beach part is more that they are living in beach houses and that it is a romance which is often considered a beach read. Or at least that is my assumption there on the name.

As for the furniture, January doesn't have anywhere else to be until she sells another book as she is low on money. Plus once she is ready to leave/sell the house it is easier to do with less stuff in it.

I like the cult research, its something very different in a romance book. Also the best books are written the way Gus is doing it. Talking to people that experienced things makes being able to write it that much more real.

I like that January is writing again and that she is using her last year of life as her muse. I hope she opens the letter left by her dad soon though.

For sure! I am enjoying it. Just having more audio than anything else time lately

Finished it! I really enjoyed it. I loved watching their relationship grow and the characters felt so real.
