"Lost in Shangri-La" by Mitchel Zuckoff is a story about the survival of three people from a plane crash in an unexplored part of New Guinea after World War II. The main character so far is Margaret, a good looking, independent woman who joined the Women Army Corp. "It sounded corny, but Margaret wanted to see the world, serve, her country, and find out what she was made of." Margaret is the type of person who likes an adventure.
So far this book is very slow, there's a lot of character descriptions and background information. So far I am 40 pages in and there is nothing going on at all, I almost wanted to just skip ahead. The plot of the story is interesting to me, I just hope the story picks up soon.
