1. This book me a little while to get into and to be honest I never really got completely into it. 2.This book was definitely character driven there was plot but to me it was pretty predictable and the author made the book choppy and needs to work on transitioning between present and past.
4.No this book needed to be set in the Scottish Highlands. This book had a subplot about bringing wolves back to Scotland.
5.The book was a metaphor for everyone having a 'wolf' of some kind in themselves. A dark self or alter ego whatever you want to call it. So it was not only about the actual wolves.
6. I did feel like I got the story they were telling I did not feel duped or lied too. I understood exactly what the author was going for.
7. My opinion of the main character Inti changed a few times. I loved her in the beginning and then hated her in the middle and then loved her again at the end. In the middle she just seemed to become self absorbed and she did nothing but judge everyone and everything it was very grating on my nerves but at the end she did everything in her power to save her just born child and the wolves she loved so much.
8. I didn't really feel like in this one I related to any of them really but I loved the characterization and felt I could understand why they did what they did and what drove them too it.
9. The ending to me was predictable. I figured out who it was after the first body showed up but I loved how the book made it about human emotion and feeling and protection of those close to you that people will do anything to keep them safe. I did not like how choppy the story was and I had a hard time with the prejudice and hatred people were throwing around but I understood why it needed to be part of the story.
