Hi there everyone, I’m in search of a clean read that has minimal to no foul language. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and also loved Hunger Games and Divergent. It doesn’t have to be exactly like them, just giving you an idea of my favorites. Open to any genre. 😊 Thanks!

I really like the Matched trilogy by Ally Condie, it about a rebellion against “The Society.” It is a dystopian romance, but for someone who doesn’t like romance, I thought it was a good read. It doesn’t have any foul language, the worst thing that they say, is that the character sweared, but they don’t mention the swear word. I hope this helps :)
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer (the first one is Cinder). Also, you may like Beauty and the Clockwork Beast by Nancy Campbell Allen it is Steam Punk Series.
I agree with The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. If interested in a touch of magic then recommend Mine series by Janeal Falor. If interested in Russian mythology then recommend The Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden.

I just read the Legend series and absolutely loved it! Its now my favorite dystopian. And it kinda gave me Divergent vibes so if you liked Divergent then i think youd like this too :)
My boys especially like Nancy Farmer's "House of the Scorpion" books. I and my daughter also like them as well though. Not quite on the lines of Hunger Games and Divergent but very good.
The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud is fantastic and totally clean. I also loved the Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage.
Everything Charlie Holmberg writes is clean and so good. Try “Followed by Frost” or the “Paper Magician Series” or the “Numina” Series.
The “Numbers Game” series by Rebecca Rode is also good and clean.
Enjoy! Let us know what you loved!
