Shelia, I see why you like this book. I am so invested! I usually read several books at the same time, but I can't put this one down.
I'm afraid I'm the opposite. I keep thinking, "Why do I care again?" while reading this one. :\ I feel like I'm missing something.I look forward to the discussion so I can hear everyone else's thoughts
On the Wikipedia page, there is a Julio-Claudian family tree:

That is so helpful, because MAN, between the divorce/ remarriage and adoption, there are sine seriously convoluted family relationships!

Honestly every time I read this book, there comes a point where I'm just like, "You know what? I'm not going to try to keep track." Ha!

As I admitted last night at the meeting (which, by the way, went great as a hybrid in-person/Zoom meeting), this is one of my very favorite books. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. (And if you don't, I promise, no hard feelings!) :)
