Morning! Hope everyone's been saving up their tricky letters for this! :D

Of course I have started to list my books that could work for letters! :)

Tricky letters and chunky books this time, it would seem :)

No colours with the letter "X", how come? LOL

Yay, so happy that this is starting again!

I have to confess that I am relatively new to Wheel - my first experience was the Wobble wheel, so this throwback to Wheel 2 will be fun!

who remembers the earliest wheels?

Wheel-o-brown was my first one, so I am a newbie as well, an inchworm, so to speak, or is it shamrock? :)

Wheel III was my first one (didn't remember which one it was and spent some time digging in the archives).

I think Wheel III was my first one. It was one with colours for sure though.

Yes - team captains are volunteers, and need to know that their team are all still playing. If players don't check in weekly it causes unnecessary trouble in chasing up and sorting cover for the planned books etc.
Check-ins can be as simple as "I'm still reading!" :)

For your information... Wheels was Karen's baby! She did the first two, I'm only to blame for towers III.

Before that I might have helped with theme... and points break,,, and pictures... and... okay... I'm seeing your point now

@Sammy - yes! the Wobble wheel was complicated and traumatic (the source of my brown thing!). I was frankly astounded when I discovered how simple and stress-free the original versions of Wheel could be!

@E - colours was #2. spell-out genres was #1; Hallowe'en was #3; Wheel-o-Brown was #4; the lockdown travel was #5 and now we are on #6! (Wobble sits outside the numbers, but came between #2 and #3)

wobble is not my doing. I have nothing to do with the challenges. Well... Unless you count the wobble idea, and the sport billy's reference. And and... dang... it was a team effort, why are you blaming me? you loved it.

Wheel III was my first one - fun, crazy times :p

And you returned for wheel 4 to be captain of the most fantabulous of brown teams E. As I recall I read mostly Stephen King books for that one.

Wait... maybe not. wheels III was after Towers HP, and the towers after wobble was the Star Wars one.

I've been immersed in historic Wheels. I can confirm wobble was after II and before the Nightmare Before Christmas edition (III)

Morning all, so excited for a new team challenge. Not sure if/when I've done Wheel before but I'm in need of a reading boost.

I'll have to miss this one, I have a huge test I have to study for. ☹️ I'm a newbie to these team challenges. It sucks I'll miss it because I've been looking for a team challenge where you have 2 weeks to read a book as opposed to 1.... Does this one come around once a year at least??

Wheel is an annual challenge.

Come Feb there is UNO over in Perks of Being a Book Addict (lots of overlap with the people in this group). There you just need the books you promised to read done by the end of the month.

you can take 2 weeks to read a book PrinzessBookDragon. you just need to leave a comment on your team thread once a week to let your captains know you're still playing.
