Editorial Tips and quotes + links for fellow Authors discussion

Any authors have a developmental/story editor for literary fiction that they absolutely love? I'm on novel #4, and, as Al Green once sang, "I'm so tired of being alone, I'm so tied up on my own, won't you help me?" A experienced sounding board would really help!
