do u also think that series about 2nd generation books are the best way to ruin the 1st generation books? ^they're almost always ruining that happy ending and our love for the 1st gen charachters or even making us have bad feelings about the latter^ if no, pls explain

personally, i think if it is done well it isn't an issue! the only "sequel/second gen" series i've read is the heroes of olympus, and i found that it added to the characters i already knew as well as introduced new stories and characters really well!

I guess I've got a bad luck with the 2nd gen books, I"ve read 2 series so far and they're really an abomination ; the prblm is that both 1st gen series r my fav and the contrast is just maddening

my issue is also that i rarely read/finish series enough to make it to the second gen series! i usually stick to standalones or i don't finish the series. what series were the ones you didn't like? - lindsey

Like us series by the Ritchie sisters and there was by sin i rise ; it's only a book of the whole series and i bet it's the worst . But really Like us is the most terrific
