The Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club by Thomas McKlevey Cleaver. It’s the story of US naval aviation during the Vietnam War.
The Thursday Murder Club 4⭐️ from me. I read it in 2 days (would’ve been one if only work, kids and life didn’t get in the way!). I found it a really easy, quick read which had me chuckling and guessing throughout. I’m a big Agatha Christie fan and while it’s not on a par with her books in terms of cleverness and twists, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read in my opinion!
The Overnight by R.L. Stine. It features the Outdoors Club of Shadyside High.
Been on a kick of re-reading Fear Street. Loved the series when I was a kid and loving it all over again as an adult.
I have read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Doesn't have playing cards on the cover but in the illustrations. So I think it counts, even if I streched a little.
I read The Bette Davis Club by Jane Lotter
I would have never found this book if it was not for this challenge and I am very thankful I did because it was such a nice read, it's sad the author died right after self publishing. I really love her voice! A big loss to think all the great stories she could have written!
I read The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (it mentions several clubs the characters frequent).
I read The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley for this one. I know many people who didn’t like this one but I loved it! It was a fast read and I didn’t see the twists coming (I’m not one to try to figure them out as I go). I loved that the chapters went from one POV to another.
I read In a book club, far away. It's about three women who are army wives and best friends and they start a book club! Very good read! I highly recommend if you are looking for a book for this prompt!
I read Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Loved this book and what was I think my first adult foray into books written as letters.
I used this prompt to put a book from my book club that was not fitting in other categories (or fit in ones that had already been used). So my read for this is Dark Matter by Blake Crouch.
A book club is involved heavily in this cozy

The action in Band of Sisters by Lauren Willig happens because of a speech at the Smith College Club. I just started it, but I'm liking what I've read so far.
