okay wow guys , i just go straight to the thing here. Now, this is the biggest “what the fudge?” moment in this book. Lilath’s leader is the Jackal.I'm honestly a bit shocked.🥴

But he isn’t alive per se. No no no. he is clone. Let that sink in a moment. A clone. WHY!? 🙄sorry girls but a tiny unpopular opinion here (bc i can't really ignore my feeling, about bringing back the old bad guy trope) That makes his original death completely flat and un-gratifying. 

I understand that new villains need to establish a new terror and that might take longer than you have, but that does not justify bringing in a clone. apparently a part of the Jackal’s original plan was this.Because CLONES. I’m sorry; I’ll calm down. So this clone has the knowledge and some memories of Jackal Sr.(i have to call them like this) and his new plan is to rule the galaxy. Of course. Oh, and this clone looks like a child. That’s not creepy at all...😃

anyway, I'm just sour here but we already had a bad guy, bringing the one that died a deserved death was just not my thing. but honestly, if anyone should have comeback it was Cassius .but While we’re at it, why don’t we bring back Octavia and a whole lot of other DEAD villains?

-and i was so caught up in jackal's return i forget to mention obviously Virginia's alive( i mean the head chapter does spoile so....) seems like Virginia escaped without sevro and howler :(((

-ahh i missed Darrow's chapter honestly it was a bit too much Ephraim and others. Kavax says he’s sent a man to free Darrow and i probably guess Cassius is among them.

- ayy we got more darrow vs lysander moment again.what a legend.

-i guess i haven't say this but i didn't know the lyria, volga and victra trio is such a badass girl's power group. And oh my god did victra finally give birth?? That scene although explained very explicitly but i found it very emotional and so powerful. I just love this woman. And now I'm worried for them specially a new born child is with them and that's really worrying.

- yesss i totally understand your thoughts on the jackal's return, but i have to disagree a little! i actually got spoiled about the jackal coming back and i was stressing that i'd feel the same way as you and be mad that pierce brought back old enemies, but actually i really don't mind the way it was done with a clone and little 10yo jackal, because i feel like it actually makes sense. adrius would be the type to leave his dna behind and ask lilath and recreate him if necessary, it definitely seems like something he'd do, and i do feel like his mini clone is a bit of a different person, so i'm intrigued to see what happens with it. but i totally understand your feelings on his return!

- and ahh i know virginia had to escape, but poor sevro, clown and pebble :(( poor babies. they must be going through hell...

- ugh damn darrow, i know you think you're keeping a close eye on lysander but it's not close enough😭 that boy is playing you and i hate it! damn you lysander! why couldn't you die...

- but at least alexander is back!! yay!!

- yesss the lyria volga victra gang are all legends!! absolute queens!! and yes it was so cute when victra gave birth, aw so precious.
