Hey everyone :)I've not finished the book yet, but I thought I could share my first impressions:
I love the atmosphere and the description of the town, it sounds so beautiful to me!
But by now I don't like any of the characters... For example I don't trust Oliver at all, too good to be true, but I also don't like the main character, I think she acts like aged 11 instead of 17.
Hey everyone, it's me again.I finished the book and I can tell you: I did not like it. I really hoped I could enjoy it if the ending is well and heals the rest of the book, but sadly the ending was one of the worst I have ever read.
Be careful, the following text contains some spoilers, do not read if you haven'r finished the book:
I told you I think the boyfriend is too good to be true, guess what: He is. And just like this fact, all the things in the storyline have been so easy to foresee.
But let's get to my problems with the ending: I just can't forgive the author the following: The killer - and it's not a "hot villain" who is supposed to get all the likes but a horrible person and true psychopath - gets away with just a warning, that's all. A warning about not doing bad things again. He's a cold blooded killer who destroyed a lot of lifes, but hey, don't do it again, alright darling?
There's no way I could like a book with these kind of message in it.

Definitely not a great message. I normally like reading about morally grey characters that make bad choices, but characters with no redeemable qualities is a wild concept to me. Definitely wanna read it tho, so I can write my thoughts.
