J.J. Gonzalez | 2 comments Hi there!

I'm getting to ready to launch on Kindle Vella and wanted to interview other authors out there and share their experiences on my new blog.

Open to all genres, but please know I lean towards fantasy, sci-fi, horror etc.

Please answer a few questions and I will DM to go forward! Also feel free to DM me as well if you are more comfortable that way.

Feel free to email me at jjgonzalez@storiesbyjj.com as well.

I'm really excited to start this, and I hope it help in our efforts to grow readership!

Questions:

- Tell me about your Vella?
-Whose your favorite character (s) in the story thus far? I know its hard!
-What's your writing process like?
- What made you want to put it on Vella instead of Ebook?
-What's coming up next for your writing, Vella or otherwise?
- Lastly where can readers find you online?

Pls be able to provide cover art and some website/ listing or social media where people may connect.

You can see my new blog here at storiesbyjj.com

Best,
J.J.

Dale Lehman (dalelehman) | 207 comments I'll send you an email with my answers. FYI, one thing about my Vella experience so far is that it's like pulling your own wisdom teeth to get people to read it. I'm not sure why. I think a few people who got an early start or had a good following to begin with were able to garner a lot of reads, but there are also a lot of series that aren't getting much attention. I hope you do better than I have, and thank you for providing an outlet for some of us to reach new (potential) readers.

J.J. Gonzalez | 2 comments Yes, I'm sure it may be hit or miss. I think a lot of people don't know what Kindle Vella is yet so that may also be the issue. We'll see where this goes!

Thanks! I think getting the word out there may help. Storytellers are storytellers, no matter the platform they start on and they are some great finds there.
