I told my friend 'hey listen, I think my parents are going to burn my books, ill bring them to you Tuesday' (there was no school Monday sadly) and I jinxed it because they brunt them Sunday

and recently my mom banned me from reading YA
but they've burned any books, I cant image :(
I read most stuff online in secret, if you have a library card you can get Libby or Hoopla to read stuff free online

yeah let's not demonize religion for no reason
the Bible was written 2000 years ago ofc not all of it will be applicable/relevant to modern society, that doesn't mean you judge a holy book
it's the intent behind it, yk, religion is supposed to help people treat others kindly and establish moral boundaries so people can feel fulfilled
it's just that humanity itself is flawed so some people perpetuate these beliefs strongly and hurt those around them, which deviates from the original reason for religion :/
