Sarah was here a coffee in her hand. She had been waiting for Farah for about ten minutes now and she was late. Like always. Sarah rolled her eyes and looked outside at the passing villagers bored.

Farah came running across the sidewalk and barged into the cafe's entrance. She quickly placed an order for a strong coffee, looking around for her companion. Once the redhead caught sight of her blond co-worker, she fast-walked to her, plopping her bag on the opposite chair and sitting down with a sigh. "Sorry, I'm late. I had some business to attend to."

"Its fine" Sarah says watching as she sat down. She sat back taking in every inch of her face, "Are you okay?" She asked her curiously. "You look exhausted" Sarah tugged at a piece of her blond hair and looked around at their surroundings.

Farah shot her another sigh, looking at the cafe counter to see if her coffee was ready. "Why wouldn't I be?" She turned to her, "Talking to difficult people is exhausting."

"You look pretty dolled up. Any occasion?" Farah questioned, her eyebrows raised, gesturing to the blond's hair and how nicely it was kept. Farah had her auburn hair tied up in a ponytail which she covered with a beanie cause she didn't have any time to actually tie her birds nest well.

A waitress came over and placed her coffee in front of Farah. She turned to Sarah, "Is there anything else you need?" She asked. The waitress had her eyes glued to Sarah but Sarah didn't even look her way.

Sarah nodded head in agreement and simply waved off the waitress. "There's no occasion. I just wanted to look my best today" She says smiling

"Thank you." Farah nods at the waitress but realizes the woman's attention was not on her. She found it awfully weird, did people usually look at customers like that? Never.

The redhead was close to laughing when Sarah waved off the waitress who desired even the slightest attention from the blond. Keeping her face straight, she nodded to what she said, not fully
convinced. "Really? You're smiling at me a lot more than usual." She grinned. Her suspicion was valid, as they usually were always strict business.

(I'm making a big deal out of nothing aren't I? XD))

Sarah rolled her eyes at the waitress walked away and took another sip of her coffee. Before Farah came in she had flirted with her just once and now she couldn't stop looking at her.

"Yeah. I'm sure" Sarah replies giving away nothing. She fiddled with her necklace and stared outside, "So how's your day been?" She asked changing the subject

Farah gulped down her strong coffee, feeling the bitterness go down her throat. She felt her eyelids open up properly, the bitterness gave her the upliftment and energy she needed. The redhead noticed how Sarah rolled her eyes at the waitress. 'She noticed it.' She thought silently, a smile playing on her face.

"Ahh I was training the newbies, but they didn't practice sparring as I told them." She tried not to relive the event and get annoyed again. "Then on the way, I met this b!tch who bumped into me on the way here. I almost reached my limit when she threatened to send me to jail. I mean, been there, done that." She chuckled softly.

Sarah turned back to her and raised a eyebrow, 'Why's she smiling?' She thought to herself

"If their not going to practice than they don't need to be here. This job takes some serious commitment. And we don't have time for immature's." Sarah began laughing when Farah told the story about the lady who bumped into her.

"I know right? I chewed them out for about half an hour. Seriously, girl, I feel like you're the only one who understand's me sometimes." A soft, genuine smile lingered on her face.

But that disappeared when Sarah started laughing at her story. She pouted, almost frowned, "Glad my annoyance is humor to you." She replied sarcastically. Thinking she'd buy something to snack on, she looked over at the front counter, trying to make out the day's specials.

"I feel the same way about you sometimes" She says giving her a warm smile.

Sarah smile fell and turned into a smirk, "Well it was a funny story. If you didn't want me to laugh at you, you shouldn't have told me" She says. Sarah takes another sip of her coffee and frowns slightly. 'Your being a b*tch again.' She told herself

Farah felt slightly flustered by the sudden sentiment. Not knowing how to approach the sentiment, she simply chuckled and shrugged it off.

But the awkwardness melted into familiarity. 'There's the Sarah I know. She thought. smiling. Once she gave up on trying to read the specials, she turned to Sarah who was frowning. "Hey, something wrong?"

Sarah shook her head, "No, I'm fine. I was just thinking" She explains. She looked at the specials and back at Farah. "Do you want anything else? I'll pay if so" She offered

Farah chuckled and waved the offer off gently, "I can pay for what I buy Sarah. You know what, I'll pay for yours too." She already stood up, picking up her bag.

Sarah shrugged and sat back. She had paid last time anyway. Sarah finished her coffee and pushed the empty cup away from herself, "Thanks" She mumbles resting her head in her hands.

Farah walked over to the counter, pulling out her wallet and asking for the bill. Once she got it, she paid the amount, not noticing the creepy waitress still watching her friend.

The waitress looked up at Farah and cleared her throat, "Uh...your friend...is she single?" She asked her quietly.

Farah thought for a moment, her eyes on the blueberry muffin she just bought. She turned to the waitress, looking her in the eyes. "Ah...uhm, well, I think she is?" She replied, thinking. She honestly only barely knew about Sarah's personal life, and never mentioned her love life; it was just not how their relationship was.

Sarah looked up to see the waitress talking to Farah, "Here we go again" She mutters rolling her eyes. She stood up and linked her arm in Farah's. "We're leaving now" She says glaring at the waitress. Sarah was clearly annoyed and also kind of disturbed.

Before she could hear what the waitress would say, an irritated Sarah linked her arm with hers and was getting dragged out of the cafe. Her other hand held onto her beanie which was threatening to fall off her head, and the other trying not to make the cupcake fall on the ground. "Hey-" She started but kept quiet, noticing now annoyed she looked.

'Why was she so annoyed? Did she overhear our conversation?' She thought curiously.

((AYEEEE It's not my fault XD My parents are really strict and all my prepping classes are over early today (it's 7 pm now XD) I can't tell when my dad tells me to study again *about to cry out of exhaustion*))

"What did she ask you?" Sarah asked through gritted teeth. She let go of Farah's arm and waited for her answer. The Waitress looked confused inside the store, but looked away once Sarah caught her staring.

Farah's eyes widened at the sudden aggression. She had probably never been spoken to by Sarah like that. "She asked me if you were single," Farah replied, cool as a cucumber, though her hazel eyes showed otherwise. She looked through the glass, noticing how the waitress looked away when Sarah glared at her. "What happened before I came here?" She asked.

Sarah noticed how she was acting, and she sighed taking, a deep breath trying to calm herself. "Sorry," She says shaking, her head.

Sarah frowned and shook her head, "Nothing much. I just flirted with her a bit," She admitted. "But that's it."

Farah made a look of realization. She replied, "Ah. But then why did you flirt with her if you weren't expecting that sort of reaction? I have to admit, the watching was creepy, but it's kinda your fault." She replied softly, shrugging.

Her mouth and her mind were in two completely different thoughts now. "It's okay, but why'd you get so angry?"

'She's not straight?!'

"It doesn't matter anymore because we're leaving," She muttered moving, away from the window of the cafe.

"I don't know her. She could be like a freaking spy or something! The only reason why I flirted with her in the first place was that I was bored." And also because she liked to tease, but that wasn't the point.

Farah followed behind her, soon walking to her right.

Farah chuckled, "I don't know about the spy part, but dang girl, there are other hobbies you can do when you're bored, not lead people on. Next time you're bored and you're with me, would you flirt with me too?" She asked, biting into her cupcake with a laugh.

'Are you telling me she's not straight?!' She thought in shock.

Sarah shrugged, "Maybe." She admits smirking. Honestly, she only flirted with people to see their reactions. It was funny to her.

She plucked her cupcake out of her hands and took a small bite before handing it back to her. Sarah winked and bounded ahead laughing," See? Fun." She called to her

Farah looked at the cupcake handed to her and then at Sarah in disgust. "Fun for you, utterly disgusting for me. Now it has Sarah saliva on it!" She shrieked dramatically, pushing the cupcake as far away as she could, laughing and running behind her.

"How can you call that flirting? I take bites of things from people all the time!" She dramatically pushed her hair over her shoulder, walking ahead, a teasing smile playing on her lips.

Sarah burst out laughing, "if you're not going to eat it give it," She told her, grinning. A lot of people were looking at them because of all the noise they were making, but she couldn't care less

"Okay I'd admit I only took a bit because I wanted it." She admits shrugging. "But if you want to see how I really flirt..."

Farah groaned, frowning slightly, handing the warm blueberry muffin to her. "You owe me a muffin next time we come here." Whoever was looking at her was given a glare in return by the redhead.

Farah glared at her playfully, her nose scrunched up. "You're evil." Her glare turned into a simple smirk. "Actually, yeah. I wanna see what you can do."

'Maybe send her on missions that require the specific skill.' She thought with a smirk.

Sarah grinned taking while taking the muffin, "Okay." She says shrugging. She took another bite of muffin and chewed as she watched Farah interact with the other people around them.

Sarah laughed and shook her head, "Maybe another time" She mutters. Looking at the time on her watch she rolls her eyes "I have to meet up with my parents in an hour." She told her

Farah sighed as she watched her precious muffin get eaten, a frown on her face.

She shrugged at the reply, her eyes watching the Muffin like watching a crush when he/she wasn't looking. She looked at the time, nodding, "I see. Welp, have fun Sarah. I'm gonna get another blueberry muffin."

"Oh, don't pout, I'll pay you back," She teases.

Sarah put on her hoodie and disappeared into a dark alley without so much as a goodbye. They'll see each other later anyway.

"Byeee." She said to the disappearing figure, tugging the beanie lower, and walking back into the cafe. Once she got her new warm cupcake, she left back to the hideout to train the newbies.
