Yes I was. Ella rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't like the way she took over for Andrew; it was more than helping a grieving husband for his wife. I put her on my list immediately, but then I thought it was an Angela trap that I fall for every time.
I was suspicious too. Ella showed up at the house and seemed to be directing everything. She even told the cops that they would not need a police advocate since she was staying at the house.
I know she looked too easy but I still thought maybe Marsons was using reverse psychology😏
That woman creeped me out. It felt like she was just waiting in the wings to take over this family.

With Marsons you always have to worry about things like that.
Ella was very cold and off-putting. She reminded me of the sister from Child's Play (the one about the gifted children). In fact, there are many similarities between this book and that one.
