Morgan | 6 comments I chose to read the book “Clap When You land” by Elizabeth Acevedo. The book I about two girls and the loss of their father. Their father both died on a plane crash, flight AA587, flying from New York to the Dominican. A routine flight that killed every passenger. Their father, they find out, is the same person. Neither of which knew bout the other. The story tells of two girls who find out about a sister from another country. A sister no one told them about. In the book, the girls learn to love each other, bringing their own perspectives of the world, created by the same man. I really enjoyed the emotional roller coaster the book and defiantly recommend it to others! I love books that make me feel something , that make me look pass my own problems in the world and cry about someones. This book did just that! It made me cry and I morned for some one else. I was reminded who much bigger the world is and how much bigger other peoples problems were compared to my own.
