My name is Nicole and I currently live in Florida; I was born in Germany (Mom is Germany, Dad is American). I have a dog named Athena who turns 8 years old this April and she still acts like a puppy. I LOVE YA books; my fave being the Throne of Glass series. My goal (other than reading 35 books this year) is to FINALLY read the Harry Potter series this year. ^_^

Welcome Nicole! And i know how you feel about your dog, i have a 7 year old cat who still haves playful moods frequently. Also, ive been looking to read the Harry Potter series for a while as well, it looks pretty good! Anyway, glad you could join! :D

@Ronia - maybe we could to it as a read along? Or a book buddy reading, even? I tried reading the 1st book once, but I think I was just too bogged down with the beginning of the school year starting; so I never finished it.

Read along? How would that work?

I'm not sure how the other book groups do it on here, but basically we vote on a book to read during a period of time and then discuss it as we're reading it. For example, at Addicted to Ink, we are currently reading the Throne of Glass series for the month of February.

I love so many! But I would probably say my favorite stand alone is The Sea of Tranquility and for my favorite series, I would probably say Harry Potter and Throne of Glass. But honestly I love soo many more than that too!
