Appearance: Scheme is not conventionally pretty, but fey are stunning in fer own way. Fer hair is cropped into a graceful pixie cut, dyed midnight blue from its original black color. Short strands brush fer brows and frame fer face, bringing more definition to a straight jawline, stark against fer warm-sand-toned skin.
Fer skin is mostly pretty clear, acne scars fairly hard to see in the area around fer nose, some small freckles dotting the upper cheekbones around the eyes.
Fer eyes are dark, somewhere between gray or brown depending on the light, set slightly wider apart than average. They’re clear and probing, intense in a way that catches your gaze and holds you in.
Scheme is average height, around 5’4, but fey looks shorter than that due to fer build - fer frame is proportionally somewhat broader and very muscular, specifically fer arms and core. Fer body may not be stereotypically lean or willowy, but there’s a certain kind of grace to it.
Distinguishing Features
➢Scars - a few on fer arms and legs, most of them are minor from scrapes or sparring incidents and will eventually fade.
➢Tattoos - only some temporary ones when fey feels like it, usually small on fer hands or ankles. Fey might get one eventually, but fey hasn’t decided what. Maybe wings across fer shoulder blades.
➢Piercings - fer ears are pierced, but nothing else. Fey doesn’t really want to get any other piercings.
➢Voice - Fer voice is a little low, lilting and rich with an alto undertone. Fey tends to speak quickly, but not in a rushed way.

➢Strongest Sense - vision or touch, probably. Fey are good at catching little details in other’s movements as well as fer own, and these two senses are what fey uses most when working on fer ability.
➢Agility (1 → 10) - 8, Scheme is extremely flexible and has a great range of motion, and fer reaction time is strong. Fer reflexes are quick and fey are graceful on fer feet.
➢Speed (1 → 10) - 7, fey has great endurance and can keep up a hard pace for a while. Scheme is not the fastest person to exist, but is definitely near the front of the pack.
➢Strength (1 → 10) - 8, Scheme is very used to hard training and have trained for a very long time, and has lots of experience with heavy lifting.

Physical Weaknesses:
➢Sprinting - Scheme is good at long-distance and can run fast, but fey aren’t as good at going full speed for short periods of time. Fey prefers to build up a pace as opposed to going 0 to 10 very quickly. Fey can sprint, of course, but fey don’t train with it very much.
➢Left Ankle - fey broke it once before coming to Crimson. It healed over great, but fey doesn’t entirely trust it as much and will subconsciously avoid overusing that leg.
➢Ranged Combat and Aim - Scheme much prefers fighting close-quarters, utilizing fer physical capabilities and weapons. While fey has strong vision and a good throw, fey doesn’t like training far-range and isn't very confident in fer aim, making it the weakest point in fer arsenal.
➢Lower Body Strength - fer training focuses more on upper body, specifically arms and core. While fer legs are still strong, fer kicks aren’t as vicious as they could be, and fey doesn’t train as much lower body.
Dress Style: Scheme is fearless in the way fey dresses, always ready to make a statement.
Fey’re typically found in a leotard, just because it’s surprisingly convenient to wear. Fey can train in it, then throw a skirt or leggings over it and call it an outfit. Fey usually prioritizes fer mobility - a given considering fer ability.
However, Scheme’s not afraid to deviate. Fer looks can be as stunning and eye-catching as fer personality. Fey loves long skirts and corset tops, and has found that they make quite the style when put together. Fey also just loves long dresses, and probably owns a few too many dramatic prom looks.
Scheme is prone to going over-the-top, especially with fer makeup. Fey can be seen on any given day with painted eyelids or ornate eyeliner or crystals following fer waterline - fey has all kinds of unorthodox eye makeup, especially glossy liquid eyeshadow and eyeliner pearls. In fact, fer full face of makeup is usually bold and unorthodox. It’s not strange for fer to be seen with a black lip or glitter gloss.
Fey're also rarely seen without fer chalcedony earrings in. They were a gift from fer parents before fey came to the Academy, and fey always wears them - they don't interfere with fer movement, since they're just earrings, and they're fer favorite color besides.
Scheme doesn’t like manicures or growing fer nails long, because it interferes with her grip and fists, but fey will wear nail rings that act as claws when fey needs them. Fey also loves heels. Not only do they make fer kicks much more dangerous, fey just loves those shoes. Scheme is the girl who will strut down the hallway in a silk dress and stilettos.
Of course, fey knows that her normal sense of fashion is not always the most convenient. Fey can easily switch gears to more subtle things like bodysuits and unitards with straight-leg jeans. Fey has a very typical, trendy taste in fashion outside of...everything else fey prefers wearing.

Personality: Scheme is the kind of person who can put on a show.
Fey can be easily dramatic, unafraid of calling attention to ferself. Fey will add extra flourishes to a performance without a second thought. Fey're bold in fer choices, seeming spontaneous but never over-the-top. Not tasteful, but almost.
To Scheme, almost everything is a performance. Whether or not people are watching is irrelevant. You could call fer extra, but fey exudes confidence. Fey’re bold and they know it. Fey owns everything fey does.
Except for mistakes, of course. Scheme doesn’t tolerate mistakes. Not from ferself or those fey works with. Fey are driven, aggressive sometimes, and always willing to run things over and over until fey get it perfect.
Scheme is clever and cunning, always doing fer best to reach fer goal. Whether it’s fer personal agenda or a mission, fey doesn’t let things stop fer. While fey can be indecisive, fey’re good at thinking on fer feet. Fey likes having plans and strategies, but fey’re also not afraid to deviate.
Besies, fey can smooth things over easily enough. Fer flair for drama and boldness seems like it could lend itself to undiplomatic behavior, but it really does the opposite. Scheme is charming and, while fey doesn’t entirely get along with everyone, fey commands a type of attention that people have trouble analyzing. Fey’re attention-catching and aware of it, though much of fer charm seems strangely effortless.
Maybe part of it is just that she’s extraordinarily good at manipulation. Fey’re charismatic, easily pinpointing the right things to say or do in order to win others over. Fey can adapt ferself to any environment. It’s somewhat scary, the way fey shifts personalities. Fey’re incredible at acting and lying, and naturally is always comfortable in front of an audience.
This makes Scheme somewhat capricious, hard to get to know. Fer masks can be fluid, changing with every person fey talks to. Similarly, fer moods are hard to read, although they change quickly and sometimes without warning.
Surprisingly - or maybe not surprisingly - fey guards their feelings fiercely. Scheme might be dramatic and prone to adding flourishes to fer actions, but being vulnerable is not something fey will ever willingly let ferself do.
Scheme is good at guarding ferself, both physically and emotionally. In fact, fey can be quite fierce, ready to attack in defense of ferself or fer friends. Or really just ready to attack in general. Fey’re not all that hot-tempered, but fey can put up a vicious fight. Naturally fey’re quite strong, but fey are also incredibly stubborn. Fey’re more than willing to go up against anyone dumb enough to challenge fer.
If you couldn’t tell, Scheme exists on drama. Fey loves drama and spectacles, and if fey really wants to fey’re not averse to making some. Fey’re a bit of a gossip, usually not in a mean-spirited way, just because fey loves talking about the most recent events and all the things taking place around fer.
As a result, fey can get bored pretty quickly. Fey doesn’t know how to handle it when fey doesn’t have anything to do. Scheme prefers throwing ferself into things, whether by spontaneous decision or not.
Under all this, there’s a side to Scheme that fey shuts off. It’s the part that’s cold and unfeeling and bitter, if only to avoid that fact that fey’re so sensitive. The side that fey won’t expose to anyone or anything. Fey covers up fer desires and fears, the things that fey could never trust anyone else with.

I don’t need a spotlight or a stage.
History: Scheme’s mother divorced fer father when fey was two. He remarried when fey was four, so fer memories of someone other than fer stepmother are very hazy. But fey remembers somehow knowing that fer mother was gone and that fey hadn’t gotten the attention fey’d thought fey would.
Scheme first discovered fer ability at age five. It was fer first ballet class, and a professional dancer was putting on a demonstration. Fey was captivated by her movements, some part of fer internalizing it all. Fey took in the instructor’s footwork, the arch of her arms, the lift of her legs. Fey wanted to move like that, and some part of fer said that fey could. So when Scheme went into the studio for the first time, fey started dancing.
Fey woke up at the hospital after eight hours of unconsciousness, unable to move, fer child muscles incredibly strained and injured. Fer parents were shocked, and the doctors were perplexed. Fey had danced like a professional, executing moves that most dancers three times fer age couldn’t begin learning. Which explained the damage done to fer body.
After about two months of rest and recovery, Scheme begged to go back to ballet. Fey’d fallen in love with the movements - which, unbeknownst to fer, were not fer own. Not that it mattered. Fey wanted to learn more, to understand. Maybe even to understand how fey had managed to dance.
Fey collapsed several more times, too young to fully understand what fey was doing to ferself, but managed to hold back from the disaster of fer first lesson. Fey learned that there was a difference between doing the dance and imitating the dance.
However, that studio wouldn’t take fer in after fer injuries and missed lessons. So after a few months of spotty ballet training, fey pulled out and changed to another class.
It took Scheme a little less than a year to get ahold of what fey knew - which really wasn’t much. It wasn’t so much ability mastery as ability suppression, which only increased when fey entered gymnastics.
Fey was around seven when fey realized that fer parents were a little too concerned about fer physical abilities - that they had been considering bigger doctor meetings and appointments if things continued. Fey couldn’t bear the thought of things getting worse - fey didn’t want to be held back from moving the way fey wanted to, and fey didn’t want to admit that whatever fey could do wasn’t natural.
So Scheme did fer best to divert their attention, to make other things so important that it wouldn’t be spared a second glance.
Fer dramatics were for survival at first, but fey learned quickly to enjoy it. It was like a mental form of fer ability, another way of putting on a show. Fey learned to flaunt fer attention, thrive in the spotlight, if only to cover up what went on backstage.
Scheme taught ferself excitement, how to make ordinary things into something more, in order to change others’ reactions to fer - first fer parents, to distract them and make them think fey was “normal,” then to everyone else to convince them fey was more.
Fer boldness grew as fey did, giving fer access to different realms of fer otherwise somewhat everyday life. Fer performance in dance and gymnastics increased, and then fey joined acrobatics and cirque. Fer connections in school drew in others, and fer involvement never ceased. Fey tapped into the lives of others, the gossip and rumors, first out of boredom and then out of curiosity. Fey learned that spectacles were nothing to be afraid of. And everything, when done correctly.
Scheme was twelve when fey received fer letter from the Academy. Fey hesitated after reading it, not knowing what it really meant for fer. A superhuman ability - fey’d somewhat suspected, not knowing if fey was simply gifted or different, but had dismissed it at first. And now fey knew.
But what about fer parents? How would fey just leave everything behind?
But after everything - all the things fey’d taught ferself, all the things fey’d made happen to survive - there was no way fey would let it all go. All things aside, the Academy was an opportunity that fey knew fey needed to take.
So fey walked and followed the letter’s instructions.
When Scheme arrived at the Academy, fey was determined to keep up with fer new classes and fer new life. Fey had made fer choice, for better or worse, and fey sure as hell wasn’t going to let ferself regret it. Fey would make it work, the way fey’d made her old one work.
Fey’s been here for four years since, training and learning. It was a weight off fer shoulders not to hide fer ability and to learn it instead. But the learning was a struggle as well. That’s why fey trains as hard as fey does, puts so much effort into fer physical strength. Fey remembers the injuries fey sustained when fey first started dance, the toll fer ability took on fer muscles. Fer goal is never to have to deal with that again - for fer opponent never to be so much stronger that fer ability isn’t enough for fer body to handle it. Fey trains to get stronger, to be the best fey possibly can.
Scheme felt lost sometimes, like fey could slip from this reality the same way fey did before. But fey hasn’t, and fey won’t if fey has anything to say about it.
Darkest Moment - Scheme was ten when fey knew fer life would never be normal - not what fer parents wanted, and not one that she would particularly enjoy. Fey’d been repressing things for a long time and while fey didn’t entirely understand it all, fey knew it would eventually take a toll.

Relationships:
➢Mother - fer stepmother, really, because fer biological mother divorced fer father when fey was very little. She only visited a few times afterward. However, Scheme and fer stepmother have a good relationship. They’ve never been super close, but Scheme still thinks of her as their maternal figure.
➢Father - they get along well, probably a better relationship than with fer stepmother. They’re pretty close, but Scheme wasn’t overly distraught when fey left for the Academy.
➢Friends - Scheme doesn’t attach to people easily. Most of fer friends are just barely above the level of acquaintance and probably don’t know fer well. But the people that Scheme does trust and care for? Fey’re loyal to the end. Fey’re a ride-or-die friend and will not abandon the two people fey’re closest to.
➢Rivals - Ohhhh boy. Scheme’s rivals had better watch out. Fey can be bitter and as vicious as fer right hook. Fer skill at manipulation (as well as fer dramatic ass) will ensure that their downfalls will be a spectacle never to be forgotten.
Ability Information
Ability: physical mimic; Scheme can replicate someone's movements and movement style, obtaining their speed and strength for however long fey uses it.
➢Ability Strengths - fey has the same strength, speed and agility as whoever fey replicates, but only if fer opponent is stronger (fey maintains fer capabilities if fer opponent is weaker). Fey can also "retain" multiple people's movements for fer to access and switch between.
➢Ability Limitations - the ability will "retain" someone's patterns for fer to access, but only for about three days. Scheme can also only access three people's patterns at a time and has a hard time switching back and forth. It requires a lot of energy to switch or maintain patterns for long periods of time.
Overuse will lead to fatigue or unconsciousness (depending on the amount of exertion), soreness or potentially paralysis as a result of said soreness, and things like accelerated heartbeat and hormonal imbalance.
Fey has to be able to see fer target to "latch onto" their patterns. The ability is also affected by fer exhaustion level. If fey are tired, the ability does nothing to combat the weariness.
➢Ability Weaknesses - while fey can match a stronger opponent using fer ability, this automatically drains away once fey stop. Fer body will be appropriately sore or injured from those exertions as without the ability.
The ability will not work if Scheme is blinded or paralyzed. It is less effective when fey are tired.
➢Ability Control (1 → 10) - 7.5, fer training has brought fer a long way and fey are skilled at wielding it. Fey are relatively in tune with fer limitations. Fer main problem is maintaining constant control of fer ability and not letting things slip. Scheme's ability works similar to memory - if fey doesn't test it often, things will slip from fer ability retainment.
➢Burnout - burnout occurs when fey has exhausted fer energy or reached fer ability limit - usually about twenty straight minutes of fighting, but it also depends on how much energy fey has spent on switching patterns and how much fey started out with in the first place. Burnout causes paralysis, fatigue, unconsciousness and soreness, similar to a coma or concussion. It can last several days if it’s extremely severe.

Greatest Strength - fer ability to adapt, whether that’s mentally or physcially. Scheme is incredible at changing ferself to different environments and thinking on fer feet. Fer improvisation is a honed asset that allows fer to handle situations well.
Strengths:
➢close combat - Scheme excels at close combat and hand-to-hand, even without fer ability. Fey can be extremely aggressive and fer physical strength lends itself well to it; fey loves kickboxing and krav maga.
➢performance - fey is very good at performing in front of people, having learned the necessary confidence and projection skills to be comfortable with an audience. Fey is more than okay with being in the spotlight.
➢body control - even without fer ability, Scheme has great control over fer body and fer movements - years of gymnastics, acrobatics and dance will do that to you, especially now combined with fer combat training. Basically, fey is very good at all the classes that involve physical aspects.
➢spontaneity - fey can change fer mind easily and quickly and just go along with whatever is currently happening. Fer random impulse decisions are somewhat infamous in fer friend group, but they’ve resulted in some very fun things.
➢stubbornness - Scheme is loyal to a fault and stubborn as hell. Fey don’t rest until they achieve their goals as long as fey’re really dedicated to it. Fey can be ruthless if need be, stopping at next to nothing, and is willing to stoop to some low levels to get what fey want.
➢self-preservation - fey is excellent at survival. Fey always had an instinct for what would keep fer going. Scheme knows what to do to keep ferself safe.
➢quick thinking - Scheme has wonderful improvisational skills; fey can come up with clever solutions on the spot, deviating from a premeditated plan without too much trouble.
➢confidence and boldness - fey has a flair for drama and fey’re more than willing to use the world as their stage. Fey is indomitable in fer choices, and fey’re not afraid to draw attention. Fey owns fer spotlight.
➢manipulation and deceit - Scheme is surprisingly persuasive, and, as mentioned before, has a talent for pulling off performances. Fey can lie and mold others’ opinions with stunning ease.
➢guardedness - fey might put a lot out for all to see, but there’s a lot fey keeps to ferself. Fey knows how to defend ferself in any way fey sees fit.
Fatal Flaw - fer hubris, which is strangely coupled with fer insecurity. In a way, Scheme is infallible in fer beliefs of ferself, whether or not they’re good or bad - because how could fey be wrong about ferself? If fey says fey’re weak, then who would say otherwise?
Weaknesses:
➢vanity - fey is conscious of how fey appears at all times, not only in terms of looks (though that in itself is a weakness) but behavior. Fey views ferself with a mirrorlike perspective, trying to always see how looks turn out.
➢stubbornness - while this is one of fer greatest assets, Scheme can be too determined and too ruthless, not swaying even in the knowledge that fey’re wrong.
➢self-preservation - another strength-turned-weakness. Scheme doesn’t always let ferself enjoy things or get too deep, because fey’re so focused on finding a way out and keeping ferself safe. Fey can be selfish or cowardly at times, since fer focus goes instinctively to saving fer own skin.
➢insecurity - Scheme might project confidence and boldness, and while fey certainly is, fey’re also not very secure. Fey has many doubts and fears about herself, which amplify the more fey tries to shove them down.
➢sense of self - fey doesn’t know when to rest or quit. When fey gets an idea into fer head, fey works toward or against it as hard as fey can, not entirely sure whether or not it’s real. Fey doesn’t always have a clear view of fer behavior or thoughts.
➢pettiness - Scheme can be very, very petty, turning small deals into huge ones with fer signature flourish. Fey holds onto things tightly and never fails to deal revenge.
➢guardedness - fey doesn’t let others in easily, much as fey might want tol the cause of much inner turmoil. Fey keeps many things to ferself, not realizing what’s really necessary, and inhibits ferself in those ways. Fey seals off parts of ferself and doesn’t know how else to deal with them.
➢coding - sure, things can make sense, but coding just scrambles fer brain. It’s fer worst subject and fey’re never sure whether or not fey’re doing things right.
➢long-term strategization - Scheme has a tendency to focus on the here and now, and while fey can strategize well and does fer research thoroughly, fey gets bored too easily and makes too many impulsive decisions for fer to really stick to long plans.

are you always this... articulate?
「Jasper is a hell of a lot to deal with, and very rarely in a good way. He's loud and arrogant and seems to think they're better than everyone around him, save for those who've proved themself worthy in his eyes. His standards for "friends" are extremely high, almost impossible to reach, but occasionally someone will manage. They always has something snarky to say, even - no, especially in situations where their opinion is very much not wanted. He purposely annoys people in as many ways as he can, and he constantly tries to make himself the center of attention. They make sure everyone knows they're there when they walk into a room. Jasper radiates blind confidence and stubbornness, and he never backs down from a challenge. If you need them to do something, make it sound like a bet or a dare, and they'll do it. He never misses a chance to gloat. He's the kind of person who will do the exact opposite of what he's told purely out of spite, and he's definitely difficult to work with.
They don't seem to have any real emotions. Any feeling he sees as a weakness - which is most of them - is bottled up deep down inside, replaced by some overdramatic facade of confidence, cruelty, or a heavy dose of both. Authenticity was never really their style, and they lie about plenty of things, even if there's no real reason to do so. Despite Jasper being... Jasper, they do have some redeeming qualities. He's actually pretty smart, and he's not half bad of a teacher if you can convince him to help you. They can also be charming when they want to, and they're amazing at talking their way out of trouble. Jasper is really just good at people. Reading them, knowing what makes them tick. He can look at someone and know exactly how they're feeling. Everyone is an open book to them, and as much as they refuse to admit it, they hate seeing people in pain. He'd rather deal with someone taking out pure rage on him than be in the same room as someone who's crying - he gets uncomfortable and awkward, wondering if it's his fault or trying and failing to come up with a way to comfort them.
Anger, Jasper can handle. Being hated is normal for them. He doesn't mind those. Really, all they want is attention. Jasper can't stand being ignored, and so he acts out. 「Jasper was born an only child to a very wealthy and influential family. Their parents were always too busy to spend much time with them, so they were basically raised by his babysitters. As he got older, he started to realize that neither of them actually cared about him, and he grew bitter. They started to act out as a way to get their parents' attention. He'd get into fights at school, make scenes, steal things. They would constantly be in trouble, and sure enough, they started getting more attention. Not positive attention, but attention nonetheless. His parents would yell at him for a while, and then they'd pay to have everything smoothed over. They didn't want Jasper's bullshit to ruin the family's reputation.
When he was twelve, he pulled something that was the final straw. They hotwired and stole a car. A really expensive car. And then he'd crashed into a forest and wrecked the car completely. Jasper was mostly unharmed aside from a fractured wrist, but the car had to be scrapped. That little stunt was insanely hard for their parents to clean up, but they managed. After that, they sent Jasper to a boarding school in New York, only for him to come back three months later because he'd gotten himself expelled. His parents seemed to decide that there was nothing more that they could do, and went back to ignoring him. They were just a problem child, a nuisance, nothing more. He hated that feeling of insignificance, but what could he do? The more they acted out, the more his parents just swept it all under the rug without a word. So, at 13, he ran away.
Jasper is one of the few students at the Academy who's actually seen the Force of Echoes in person. It's something they brag about fairly often, but in the moment, they were terrified. He had no idea he was even superhuman until he bumped into one of the Force's assassins on the street. Suddenly, he could manipulate the water around him, and he had no control over it. A pipe running under the street burst, then another. They didn't know what was going on, how to make it stop, but they could feel that they were the one doing it. The assassin could tell, too, and started chasing after him. They had to run for their life - and really, that was the first time they'd ever felt true fear. He'd been sheltered all his life, and now someone was trying to kill him. If the Academy agents hadn't been there at the moment, things would've gone very wrong. Jasper knows that. He was herded by two of the agents into a strangely high-tech plane, but not before he took a bullet to the shoulder.
They spent a while in the infirmary healing, and they still have a scar from the gunshot. When he was finally fixed - which didn't take too long, but it felt like forever - he was taken on a tour of the Academy, told about his abilities, and welcomed as a student. During those first weeks, everyone's eyes were on them. He was new and interesting, with a strange power, and most importantly, he'd seen the Force in person. They took advantage of that attention immediately, thrived in it.
It faded, after a while, but he gained a reputation around the school pretty quickly. They were at the top of most of their classes, and they were somehow charming despite being so arrogant. Plus, he was a part of the Murder of Crows - a trio that everyone knew and most wanted to be. He would never admit it, but the other two are the closest thing he's ever had to real friends.
Jasper didn't look back after coming to the Academy. People cared about them here, paid attention to them. Besides, he'd already run away from home. They did check, just once, to see how their parents had reacted to their disappearance.

➳ ʜɪꜱᴛᴏʀʏ - eira was born to two superhuman parents, in germany both who were very loving towards her and cared for their daughter, but as the force of echos became more of a problem they had to move constantly. eventually eira's parents were captured and she was taken to an adoptive family at the age of 2, her memories of her parents were erased and since she didn't show signs of supernatural abilities she was left alone. growing up on the ranch of her adoptive parents, eira learned how to ride horses and then later how to use an bow and arrow. around the age of 13 eria started to show signs of an ability forming, she was also regaining her memories, this caused the force of echos to take interest in her again. at the age of 15 not to long before her 16th birthday the force decided to take her back into their hands, when they came to take her she fought back risking her abilities side affects to kill them all. as she sat coughing blood, she was able to receive her letter for the academy and leave before reinforcements arrived.

It was the first time Abby had ever experienced loss, and it tore at her--she couldn't stop crying for days and was devastated and unable to be consoled. This is when her ability manifested itself, and she found out that she could control rain and storms, lightning aside. It matched her mood--the area around her small country town was wet and storming, almost flooding, for hours on end as she lost control, feeling inside her body that she was controlling this. She'd ran away when she found out about this and her father, and after those few hours, she realized when she'd fallen asleep that the storm stopped.
As authorities searched for her, as she hadn't returned yet, the twelve year old girl started to try and play with her powers. She tried to find a way to control them but found it so hard, and when she lost patience she found a burst of storm began over her. Abby realized it was tempered to her emotions, but didn't know how to control them aside from that. When her mom and some authorities found her, they were able to get her home.
Abby closed off a little because of her father's death and her own abilities, fearful of what would happen should anyone find out. She'd spend time in the attic to get away from people and try and play with the storms outside, and because her dad had a workspace here, and one day she stumbled upon a journal of her dad's...and she read it, impulsively, and found out her dad had had superpowers as well...could control lightning and thunder. Feeling like she had been his missing piece, Abby began to embrace the super hero idea and was determined to get better at it.
And only a few days later she received a letter--the letter to Crimson Academy. Finally, unable to keep the secret from her mom any longer, Abby admitted she had these powers...and her mother flipped out. She eventually calmed down and told her she still loved her, but that the Academy was the safest place for her, so Abigail did as the letter instructed and left for the school. It had so much she wanted--to help people, she could be a hero, and to control the gift because she didn't want to hurt anyone by creating storms, since lightning was involved.
She's been at the Academy since and has come to have a much better grasp on her ability than she ever has had before, and can control her emotions a lot better and the power, and can do it at will now. She continues to fight for justice when she can, and work on becoming stronger with her powers to make herself and her dad proud. Not a day goes by when she doesn't miss her father, though. And despite his death, Abby still is optimistic and believes that everything has a good side, and she believes that in the end, good has to prevail.
At the Academy, she has sometimes been bullied, as she was in her childhood, for just being loud and chattering and talking too much, and has often been scolded by teachers. That being said, she's not that insecure about her talking though she tries to remember others don't always want to hear her going on and on about things she finds fascinating.

For her birthday when she was just turning 15, her parents took her to the zoo. She always felt connected to animals somehow and she was going to find out why that day. She was at the zoo looking at some birds and she didn't know how but she turned into one. She ended up fainting since she couldn't handle her powers yet. Everyone was confused at what they saw and thought it was a magic trick of some sort. After that day her parents told her to never use her powers again and to forget them. After she hadn't listened and was afraid someone would see her again, they kept her homeschool. One day she got a letter from the academy. She was way beyond excited. She packed her bags and went to the nearest Mari Docking Company building as told. She left a note for her parents telling them she's going to a place to learn how to control her powers.

Nakia is an introvert and who only has a few friends, but she's also incredibly intelligent and book smart. She adored education and learning new things, and wants to be a nurse or a doctor one day. She finds science fascinating, and often reads extra books on the subject for fun and for her own knowledge outside of class. She's not the best when it comes to physical strength, but that doesn't bother her. 「history (six sentences at least)」Nakia was born to two parents who loved her intensely, and she grew up in a warm home with two rabbits, a younger sister, and parents. They were a middle-class family, so they were pretty comfortable until she was ten years old and her mother and father were both fired from their job. Nakia had always known her parents both had a superhuman ability, and she knew that they'd always lived in a comfortable home in the forest to hide away from the Force of Echoes or anyone who wants to hurt her parents. When her parents lost their jobs, Nakia remembered asking what had happened, and her father urgently explained that they had to leave, now, because he had accidentally revealed his powers at work when he lost his temper, and his bosses had suddenly called the police.
Nakia's dad and mom had been experimented on and used by the Echoes as kids and had escaped to live a normal life, so now, worried about government intervention and a resurgence of the Echoes knowing their location, her family fled, leaving Nakia more scared and heartbroken at leaving her private school she attended and her one friend. She became even more shy as they relocated somewhere remote--a tropical island. The girl became even quieter, and that first week away, scared that people would take her parents away, she was leaning against a palm tree and wishing to get away from here and have more alone time to think when the next thing she knew, she was hovering off the ground.
Nakia was not actually that terrified, because she'd always figured she may have an ability someday thanks to her parents having one, but it did make her nervous because now she knew that the Echoes or government could come after her as well. She began to experiment though, and found she could fly--going higher and into trees, and further as well. She played with her strengths and weaknesses, and her mom helped her work to control it a little. Only two weeks later, Nakia received a letter for Crimson Academy, and while she didn't want to go because of her social anxiety, her parents told her she'd be safer there...so she reluctantly agreed, and has been attending ever since.
She hasn't made a lot of friends but has excelled in her studies, and she doesn't use her ability unless she has to simply because it reminds her of how it could get her and her family in trouble, even if she is at the Academy. And she wants a normal life and to be a doctor, too, and so she wants to work on control more than anything else related to her ability so she can hopefully one day live a normal life. She does use her flight to escape and go sit by herself when people become too much, however, or when she's upset.

She's full of anger and has an incredibly short temper, which when she snaps, everyone around her needs to be careful. The brunette has been known to lose her cool and begin fights, though in her opinion most of the people she fights are deserving of it for saying something idiotic. When it comes to women's rights, Caledonia will not let anyone say anything rude or mean, and she will fight anyone who does.
She's also a bit rash--the few people she cares for in her life are very important to her, and if something happens to them she'll often break rules and not think anything through before rushing off to help them or defend them.
She comes across as colder and unfriendly to most people, but she does deep down care for those she loves and for anyone being bullied or stepped down on. She isn’t afraid to step up and yell at people and with her height and muscle, most people tend to find her a bit intimidating. Usually a rule follower.

Her father abandoned the family about six months before her birth, and she has never met him, nor does she know what happened to him, as her mom will not discuss him. Caledonia grew up a mama's girl. As her mom worked at a government agency, Caledonia grew up knowing how to use weapons and defend herself. She was planning to follow in her footsteps.
She had a normal-ish childhood--as normal as one could as the daughter of a spy; the brunette attended classes for her strength, and had some schooling with a tutor from the agency that her mom hired. Caledonia rapidly grew to learn many different languages and enjoyed it.
She was bullied, viciously, by others her age who were training as well. They saw her introverted nature as something to make fun of, and were jealous of her progress. They made fun of her height, quieter nature, and, when they found her kissing another girl spy trainee in an empty classroom when she was fourteen, they bullied her for liking girls.
The whole time, Caledonia had almost no filter. She'd try and ignore the words and cruel pranks that were pulled on her, but as she got older it became harder to hold in her rage and hurt, and she ended up in physical fights. While some of them were because they attacked her, some were because she lost her temper, when they managed to get under her skin in just the right way. She would never tell her mother any of this, as people didn't know they were related, and the loner was determined to figure this out on her own. Usually she could, but she also grew angrier, and this fed her worsening depression and colder exterior/nature.
When she was thirteen she had a crush on another girl, and when she found out the girl liked her, too, Caledonia felt a rare shock of excitement and the two hid the fact they liked each other and were seeing each other until one of the bullies caught them kissing after lessons.
From that day forward, Caledonia's life was even more hellish, the bullying unmerciful, fights violent. One evening, Caledonia was walking back to the room where the girls stayed when a group of them attacked her, aiming to injure her, maybe even kill. There were so many she couldn't fight them off, and Caledonia was knocked to the dirt. She curled up to protect herself. She was furious, upset, and wanted to make the girls pay for what they were doing. But as soon as she felt this anger, the soil and the dirt beneath her began to shake. At first she didn't think anything of it, but the girls around her were thrown off their feet but Caledonia wasn't impacted. Still, she hadn't known that so she'd grabbed the roots of a tree, hands clenching it, watching in shock as it kept going and the girls couldn't even get to their feet. The worst part was, she thought the girls deserved to be floundering, and she felt oddly connected to the ground, the earthquake. She didn't want the bullies to get away with what they'd done, and the next thing she knew the soil under the tree was swelling around the girls, knocking them down.
That was when Caledonia freaked out, and came to the conclusion she'd somehow manipulated the earth and caused an earthquake. But she knew she couldn't tell anyone about this--even as it made her feel more powerful. The bullies wrote off the roots as some freak of nature.
She performed experiments between her training in secret--she could harness the earth’s tremors, release them, make earthquakes. Move rocks and soil. She was powerful, but kept it hidden. She had no girlfriend anymore because the girl blamed her for being caught. But one day, Cal turned around from where she was outside to see the girl having stumbled upon her creating a small earthquake...and despite her begging, the girl reported what she called a 'freak' to the agency, and Cal soon found herself in cuffs and having to face the top dogs.
She couldn't lie to them and admitted she had some ability over the earth and gave a small example, pleading with them that she could be an asset, but instead, they turned her out of the program and forced her mom to choose between keeping her job or keeping her daughter. Her mother chose Cal, and so she resigned.
But that first night--Cal feeling like she wrecked her mom's life--she was arrested when the agency and police invaded their home, having falsely planned to let her go. Cal and her mother fought them, Cal determined to not use her ability. But since she had no practice with keeping it in check, when she grew panicked and angry, soil began to rise and form huge walls blocking and choking the police, while the earthquake knocked others out cold. Caledonia, shocked at her own destruction, was distracted from a final police car that arrived, and she didn't see a man aiming to shoot her, until the last minute when her mom took the bullet for her, almost bleeding out. Caledonia's anger snapped, and wanting the men to pay, she created a landslide that buried the police alive, killing them before she took off with her mom. They moved to a remote location where she received the letter about Crimson Academy and accepted, needing control and scared for her life/ blaming her mom's almost death on herself.

«Personality» Julien, mostly known as Jules to his friends, has an interesting personality. He's pretty laid back and chill most of the time unless someone gives him a reason not to be calm. He's pretty well known in the school, mostly known as the 'French Boy' but a lot of people decide to like him. He's almost always willing to help the lowerclassmen with anything they may need help with and he's really good at advice, though he sucks at taking his own advice. Though Jules barely ever sleeps because he has his own secrets that he wants to hide from other people and he tries very hard to cover his actions up from public view. Coffee is basically what's keeping him alive at this point since he sometimes forget to eat since he have a really bad memory when it comes to those things. His grades are off the charts though and he is like wicked good at school work and hacking things for fun, his best class is probably either Julien gets attached to people very easily because he didn't have a lot of friendly support when he was younger. He's also a hopeless romantic and when he has a crush on someone, he makes sure their as happy as they can be. And he tends to pay little gifts for them every other week.
«Likes and Dislikes» He likes a lot honestly; Hacking random things for fun, helping people out when they need it, animals more so younger animals such as baby pandas and kittens, traveling to different countries, designing his own software programs, making a difference, and so much more. And he dislikes even more; When people agrue with him, he hates awkward situations more so when he makes the situation awkward, being the center of attention, being alone and hated.
«Strengths and Weaknesses» While Julien is pretty smart, he's not terribly fast, though he does play hockey Sometimes, he's lack of sleep gets in the way, but for the most part, he can stay awake for days before passing out or crashing.
«Hobbies and Habits» His hobbies come and go but for the most part there as following; hacking, playing hocky, traveling, designing clothing, and drinking coffee. Most of his habits change. But when he's nervous, he'll bite at the scar on his lower lip or he'll touch his neck or arms. When he's mad, instead of yelling or arguing, he'll scratch at his arms until they bleed.

«History» Julien was born and raised in Marseille, the second largest city in the european country, France. And for the first few years of his life, he grew up with his maman and papa as well as a little sister named Susan. Everything was perfect, until it wasn't. When he was five years old, a fire began to spread in their family manor. His papa quickly called for the fire department and he tried to get his family out of the house as quickly as possible. Jules at the time, was just finding out how to communicate better since he never really spoke. When he heard his maman screaming and his papa yelling for everyone to get out of the house, he was scared and wanted to lock himself away. Finally, his papa grabbed him and picked him up and brought him outside before going back into the burning manor to save the rest of his family.
Julien waited. It seemed like hours but it was really only minutes. Finally, the fire department came and got his papa out of the house. But with sorrow voices, the firemen told the rest of the family that Susan and maman were dead, they couldn't breath because of the smoke and they died. His papa didn't give him time to heal, as soon as they were both physically okay, his papa moved both Jules and himself to Japan in hopes of begining a better life.
His papa never remarried though he had tried to date again, but his heart is still broken from his poor wife's death. Jules and he has agreed to not speak about their family unless they actually needed too. Now, his papa runs a very famous fashion line in Japan and he's almost never home. But he and his son call each other everyday when he is away.

The user can generate white or blue lightning that usually contains pure energy force. This lightning can come in forms of bolts or shocks. Is unable to use the ability again until they recharge. There is a tattoo on the user that is designed to look like a battery. If the battery has all the bars, the lightning is easier to use and the strongest. If the bar level is only halfway full, it takes a lot of energy to generate the lightning. And finally if there are no bars, the ability stops working until the user is rested and their mana is recharged.

➳ ʜɪꜱᴛᴏʀʏ - julia and keth, mia's parents, both attended the academy. neither of them having powerful gifts, they happened to be quite minor and of no use to anyone, during their time they were both considered the closest to normal people. finding comfort in the other they started dating and eventually got married, staying on the island, where it was safe. they had mia their first on only child, who was the light of their lives, and for once they were quite certain that staying on the island had been the best choice of their lives other then attending in the first place.
as mia got to be two-years-old, her ability manifested, and this was quite an early time for a gift to present itself. her first shift was rather destructive to say the least, as she shifted into an enormous white tiger which happened to go feral and ran around the island till the safe of the school caught her and nulled her ability. growing up on the island was a blessing to her parents as it gave them a chance to not worry as much when mia's emotions got the best of her and she transformed. this will be her very first year the academy even though she visited often before and was considered a little sister to many students who have attended longer.

➳ ʜɪꜱᴛᴏʀʏ - susanne was raised in london, england, both of her parents having previously lived in the u.s; deciding to move else where and start fresh for them and their possible family. susanne's older brother lucas was born four years before her and was always at the top of his classes and strived to be a hard working young man, someone that she looked up to. her younger brother simon was someone more like her father, he was quiet and didn't talk much, so it was always difficult to be open with him. at the age of 10 susanne developed strange abilities, both of her parents not being home and her brothers at school, while she was sick in bed one day. when she had accidentally killed the house pet, a ginger cat named copper, terrified by the blood on her hands she ran to the family phone but it to inversed; exploding into tiny pieces. when her mother got home early from work, susanne wouldn't let her get close and only after calming her down could her mother hold her daughter. eventually when susanne was around the age of 14, lucas figured out that something was wrong with his little sister, and became the second person that knew. but was killed in a hit and run accident, nothing was investigated strangely and the same thing happened to her mother. leaving susanne alone with her father who she barely knew and younger brother simon at the age of 15, when they moved back to the u.s. not long after moving back she had been on her way home when something cold wrapped around her arms, it felt like wires, and stopped her from being about to move. her powers wouldn't work either since it was so thin and didn't inverse enough to break away. the force of echoes had been tracking her and caught her while on her way home, but were all killed, only leaving her with scars on her wrists which she always hides with long sleeves

History/Backstory
Alaric was born to Christopher Bojan and Amelia Carlton. His mother was the average human, who had a one night stand with his well off father. She took care of him until he was five before she dropped him off in front of his father's company with a note attached to his shirt. His father is a owner of a technology company that assists the Crimson Academy from time to time, and the image of a child on his doorstep claiming to be his took his reputation down a few pings, especially after he had a DNA test done to confirm. Nevertheless, Christopher took Alaric in and raised him. Under his father's care, Alaric learned a lot, especially about his ability, which he kept hidden for the most part. His relationship with his father wasn't a fatherly-son one, more like a boss-empolyee one. He was being taught the roles to take his father's place in the company, among other things. In a wealthy school, he was bullied in his for being and looking different, as most kids are. It was after he pulled a bully into the mirror did things change for him. His father had manage to reach Alaric in time and had used his ability similar to mind control to force Alaric to release the other kid. After impulsing the other kid to think that he was seeing things, Christopher enrolled Alaric into the academy. Alaric didn't care or so he told himself. After a conversation with the Headmaster, he found he didn't have to feel so alone and the idea at having friends brought a smile(view spoiler), to his face.

History/Backstory
Ajax Wingate was recruited at a young age by a man who taught him his fighting style. He lost his mother and father to a drunk diver. He was seven at the time of both incidents. He stayed with his master for years, learning and honing his skills as a kickboxing fighter. Spending time in a training gym he gained multiple skills that has helped him. One of those skills being collecting information. He was sixteen when he overheard his master having a rather interesting conversation that involved him. The Force of Echos was a foreign thing to him, yet that didn't stop him from trying to find out about them. He didn't find much information on them. One day, he was on a walk when he was jumped by a few thugs looking to pick a fight with him. He took them on willingly. During the fight, he received a few cuts. Wiping at one of the cuts, he somehow smeared his blood on one of his opponents. With emotions running height, his ability activated. He flee in fear only for a letter to Crimson Academy to find him where he stood reflecting over what had happened. His master approached him with an offer.(view spoiler) Replaying his master's previous conversation, he took the offer and came to Crimson Academy. Meeting the Headmaster was a chance encounter for him, but he did what had to be done. The academy offered him opportunities to perfect his Crystallization. During his two years now at the academy, he is mainly during his own thing.

history ⋮ cas was born the son of a politician, living in a medium sized town. his mother and father were good parents. they were loving, caring, raising him with all of the knowledge he would need. that is, if he'd lived a normal life. when he was one, his younger brother was born. they lived for years as a rather happy family. cas and his brother, though, were attached at the hip. they never went anywhere without each other. they loved each other more than anything, reading stories to each other at night and going on picnics with their dogs during the day. their lives remained normal up until cas's tenth birthday. after that, things seemed to shift slightly. cas could suddenly feel this sort of power that he had. he wasn't sure what, but things were moving - inside him, around him. he became preoccupied with this new ability, and he practiced slowly on things around him. he would find bones in the woods - never experimenting on living things - and practice his ability on them. things continued like this, until, when he was thirteen, everything changed.
cas had heard about the force before. he never was scared of them - he knew they had something to do with his mom's job, but he didn't know anything else. he was just a kid, after all. but all of a sudden, there was a knocking at the door of their suburban home, the creak of cas's mother opening the door, and a rush of clashing and screams and noise. the force murdered cas's father and mother and then kidnapped cas and his brother. they took them, having heard from cas's mother that she had a son with a superhuman ability. as soon as they realized cas was the one with the ability, they separated him from his brother and tried to hone his power. cas was uncooperative, wanting only to see his brother once more, and in his many attempts to escape, one of them succeeded. he got out in the night and found his brother. they were running away when everything went wrong. the guards found them. in a panic, cas's brother urged him to use his power. his rough, undirected power that he had no idea how to control. under the pressure, cas had no idea what to do. so he listened.

She learned how to steal to stay alive, and she got good at it. Scary good. Pickpocketing, burglary, you name it. When she discovered her powers, Lucky was obviously freaked out. But she got over it pretty quick. It just made stealing easier. Metals - namely silver and gold - would bend to her will. She could just float them out of peoples' pockets and into her own, and it made life a lot simpler. After about a month of this, she found a letter. To this day, Lucky has no idea how she got it, but the letter was addressed to her. She opened it, came to the Academy, and she's been here ever since for the past 4 years.」

「personality」Leandra may be a little hard to get to know because she doesn't actively pursue social interactions and she is typically more closed off, so she can seem a little antisocial.
(Unless she's running her bakery, in which case she makes sure to smile brightly for the customers.)
But if she meets someone pure and innocent, she is very quick to get attached and to want to protect the person. She is really protective and had a very sisterly instinct towards innocent people, kind of being the family that she never had.
Around normal people who don't captivate her heart, though, she doesn't seek to really get to know them unless it's good for her in some way.
She is also a bit quick to get overwhelmed and snap at someone but she immediately feels bad once she calms down and realizes she was a little mean. She likes being in a leadership position and has a way of feeling nurturing and confident enough to be considered for that kind of position but as I said before, if someone overwhelms her with too many questions or tasks, she can get snappy which might not make her the best leader (Though she really wishes she could be.)
If she sees an injustice, she is quick to speak up about it. She wants things to be fair and equal and people to be treated correctly and she's tired of this society that has been suffocating her.
She also has little patience for sadists and others who want to hurt and kill people for its enjoyment, and she is willing to let them know loud and strong. Though she will try to keep these types of people off her back as much as possible (she doesn't like causing more trouble than she needs), again her personality might get in the way of that.
Going along with her sisterly instincts and her way of getting attached, the monotonous, painful life she has endured has made her lose a lot of joy for living and she is willing to sacrifice herself for her protégés if need be. She understands deeply that some people truly want to live and she couldn't bear to not help out. So yes, she is willing to sacrifice herself but only if she is absolutely certain her sacrifice is not in vain - she isn't suicidal.
Additionally, she has a deep disgust for how the working-class is considered like tools and objects instead of real people.

「appearance description」(This is based off of her faceclaim) She is tall, with broad shoulders and a slightly large stature. She had fair skin and greenish-brown eyes. Her hair is long, brown, and curly.
「clothing style」She doesn't give two fucks about fashion. Hence she'll just wear whatever is practical and easy to move in. She doesn't like anything too revealing so prefers baggy clothing. She doesn't like dressing super femininely either. She usually just wears something comfortable, with probably no design or anything on it.
Eh. I'm doing just fine. I guess.
「history」Leandra was born from a very struggling family. Her parents worked at a factory to try to get food on the table and keep their home, but the work barely paid and so they had to work there for extra shifts. Because of this, Leandra barely saw them and quickly learned to take care of herself on her own. She loves her parents but there is always a place of resentment in her heart. She believes that every child deserves to have someone to watch over them and she can't help but feel a bit angry at her parents for not being able to provide that, even though they were valid and they were trying.
She stayed at home and did the cooking and chores with the bit of food they had. She didn't really have an interest in making friends with the neighborhood kids so instead she just stayed at home.
But when she was twelve, she finally was tired of it all. Of waiting at home doing barely nothing and not earning anything for herself. She was just so frustrated at how she was living and because she was young and desperate, she was also quite gullible. So on a whim, she ran away from home, thinking that she'd find some magical opportunity.
Of course, reality wasn't like that and she soon found herself living in the street. And she felt so stupid and scared and yet there was still this spark of determination within her that made her want to keep going. Maybe she was fooling herself in her desperation, but she had this feeling that she shouldn't return home. That there was something out there for her.
To eat, she resorted to stealing and begging, and slept hidden where she could. But when she was around 13, she had to face the reality that stealing and stealth really wasn't her strong suit. She'd gotten caught by the police multiple times which had earned her some bruises and a few cuts and she really didn't know what she was doing. Additionally she had been mugged a couple of times in some alleys, and lost everything she had, as well as getting some things stolen while she was asleep.
She didn't know what to do anymore.
She wandered into the industrial part of the city, looking at the factories, wishing she could work there - but she was not old enough just yet to legally work.
But then a man walked up to her, and offered her a deal. He said he had a factory that also offered housing. In exchange for her work, she'd get to sleep there with a roof over her head and maybe even get a few coins.
The offer tempted Leandra but she argued that technically she wasn't old enough to legally work there.
The man told her to not worry about it, and she was so desperate that she accepted.
The man technically wasn't lying. She got a small bunk to sleep in. But the working conditions were absolute hell, especially for a child. She was working almost 24/7, sometimes with dangerous items and in an unsanitary place. But she had nowhere else to go, so she stayed.
Her life became an endless cycle of monotonous working, but as she grew older, she started to figure out a way out. To see if there was a place where she could make it. She knew she had a talent for cooking and baking and with a little luck she could maybe open a bakery. Anything would be better than that hellish place.
So she cranked up her working schedule to gain more money, stayed up doing extra things for some people on the street, even stealing again here and there, until when she was 16, she could finally open up a bakery.
She had to keep up with the intense working hours of her factory to have enough money to keep the bakery open, but through her skills and patience, her bakery's reputation kind of blew up.
She became popular around the neighborhood, and soon the bakery made her more money than the factory.
Of course she needed to keep working there too to sustain the bills and food and everything, but for once she had found true success.
That didn't exactly make her life any easier. Her days became balancing two heavy jobs to try to sustain herself and the bakery, and a monstrous cycle of baking and working. Baking and working.
Once she was around 17, the factory's boss started making some… inappropriate advances on her. Absolutely outraged, disgusted (and a little bit traumatized, though she won't admit it to herself), she went to the local police office to complain. The police officer laughed at her face and told her that she should "focus on being a functional member of society instead of wimping about bullshit".
The words stuck with her.
What the fuck is a functional member of society?
Her bakery was sustainable enough for her to maybe consider quitting her factory job, and in a strike of that famous temper of hers, she quit and focused on baking.
A week later, as she worked as hard as she could to sustain herself, she caught a girl named Dana trying to steal one of her loaves of bread.
She wanted to get mad but when Dana started explaining desperately that she had no home and she ran away and she was trying to survive as best as she could…
Leandra couldn't help but see herself within Dana, and offered Dana to work as an assistant at her bakery. And she wasn't going to be like her factory boss, Leandra told herself. So Leandra added that Dana got to sleep in the bakery too, and that she would pay Dana fairly.
Dana accepted, and of course Leandra then realized afterwards that she didn't have enough money to pay Dana fairly.
So to her great annoyance, she went back to her job at the factory to be able to pay Dana.
Her boss greeted her with a smirk, quoting the police officer that had enraged her: "I see you've gone back to trying to be a functional member of society."
Leandra was purely disgusted.
The world truly just viewed her as another tool, she realized.
And again, her days were filled to the brim with work, work and more work.
But soon a sweet sister dynamic formed between Dana and Leandra and they both became incredibly attached to each other. The only part in life that made her happy was talking to Dana and teaching her how to bake, and chatting about other things.
So she continued balancing keeping her boss away from her (he was still continuing his old creepy behavior), working at the bakery, working at the factory, and teaching Dana.
Until, you see, her powers revealed themselves very late… and at a traumatic moment. Her factory boss had been drunk and he had realized that Leandra also owned a bakery on the side. In a fit of drunken rage he entered the bakery where he started throwing insults at her and Dana. Leandra stayed frozen in terror (something that haunts her with guilt to this day) and didn't do anything to help. Dana, meanwhile, in a burst of bravery, stood up for herself and snapped back at the boss. The boss got even more mad and was going to punch Leandra when suddenly.. her powers snapped in and she withered her boss's soul.
Leandra spent the next day trying to calm herself, calm Dana, and register what happened. Luckily, she received the letter a bit later and ran off. She didn't want to abandon Dana but she didn't want the police to start meddling either. So she knew she had to go to this mysterious academy.

「personality (six sentences at least)」Cole is a man full of many contradictions. On the outside, he comes across as arrogant and cocky when he talks--he's always flirting with the women and won't hesitate to try and slide into someones' good graces if it means he'll get a date out of them. But don't expect him to just date one person--Chandler will often turn around and find a new date the day after. So, yes, he is a player and kind of has that reputation. That being said, deep down he desires a real, lasting relationship, but he's afraid of commitment and afraid of really hurting the person he will end up loving if he ever gets in that situation. Life is overall easier when he just parties and steals the alcohol from the kitchens and has some fun.
And yes, he is very egotistical and thinks--no, he knows--he's handsome, and Chandler does think highly of himself, at least when he isn't actually thinking too hard about himself and what he's done wrong in the past. This all being said, he's very intellectual and actually likes to study, and kind of wants to be a professor at the Academy one day, though he'd never tell many people such an aspiration. He also, deep down, hates that he feels he's a disappointment to his parents, particularly his father.
Chandler can be sarcastic and witty when he wants and likes making electricity and lightning puns because of his ability. He's also an adrenaline junky and likes tasking risks, loving the thrill of it.

「appearance description」Chandler stands at around 6' 2". His whole family is known for being tall, or was known for that. He has the stereotypical weight of someone that tall: he's thinner and maybe a bit lanky. Chandler isn't the most muscular person ever, but he's not unhealthy either. His hair is wavy and light brown, reaching long enough to pull it back if he wants to. Chandler has a longer face, and thinner, longer nose. His skin is pale and he has a birthmark near his tailbone, and longer hands and feet. The man also has medium-shade brown eyes, the color of black coffee with cream.
「clothing style」Always polished and put together, Chandler wears the most stylish things he can find. He hates baggy clothing unless it's a jacket he wears over something else.

「history (six sentences at least) 」Chandler was born to a very, very wealthy family. As a child, he literally got everything he asked for, as his father was a rich banker and his mother was a politician, one who was very admired and kept winning seats each election. Chandler thus grew up spoiled and a bit bratty, and he would often show that ego at school--demanding things and throwing a tantrum when he couldn't get those things. But he also became popular as he got older and he began to show his expensive clothes off--everyone wanted to be his friend, and he began to bask in the attention. His parents never really put a stop to it, and all the way through middle school he was a popular kid but was also extremely smart, especially when it came to subjects like English and Communications and he worked alright with computers. He went to private school the whole time.
When Chandler was thirteen, however, the summer going into his eighth grade year, he was staying at a summer home in upstate New York, where it was humid, and was in the water, as his parents had a home by a lake. The weather began to shift as it does there, and dry lightning began to streak across the sky. His parents yelled at him to get out of the water, but Chandler didn't hear them as he was too far out, swimming around and throwing rocks and watching ripples. So when a lightning strike hit the water and electrocuted it, both Chandler and his parents thought he was dead. But when they finally reached him, they were shocked to see that he was barely alive--unconscious, but alive...and immediately knew something was different about their son. This much electricity in water should have killed him. But it didn't. Chandler was rushed to a nearby hospital where his parents were told the same...he should have been dead.
His mother, who had heard of superpowered humans before--as her mom had been one--told Chandler's dad that night. He was stunned and terrified, and from that day on Chandler was always worried he was an even bigger disappointment to his father, who had always hated how much his son disliked his own interest of math and science.
Even so, his parents broke him out of the hospital before the Force of Echoes, as his mom knew about them, could be called, and they fled their home and ended up moving into a smaller apartment in New York City. Chandler hated the change and the move--most of the family's luxury was practically lost overnight as his father quit his job--which Chandler had always felt responsible for--and they changed names and everything. His father grew more distanced with him and his mother over the next few months as his mom worked with him on control--Chandler couldn't go back to school like this, and his outlets became sneaking off at night and fining parties, which he realized were a way to get way from his powers because the parties were a safe space.
But a few months after this, as his relationship fell out even more with his father, his parents divorced, making Chandler even more upset, guilty, and feeling the need for attention. His father moved out, and his mother did the best she could for him--but he caused power outages in their house a lot, and he was irritable and cooped up and frustrated and threw tantrums because he'd lost almost everything.
Then one day, when he was fourteen, the letter for Crimson Academy came, and he took it to make his parents' lives easier, and he's been there ever since. He writes homes when he can, but to keep them safe, he only sees them a few times a year. He does love them, and is better in contact with his mom than his dad, and is so worried that he's wrecked it with his dad.
At Crimson, Chandler began to still engage in is flirting and drinking patterns, deciding to pretend he was still rich, and besides, he wanted to feel better and so partying and drinking and flirting helps with that, and so he definitely keeps that up even though deep down he wants a real connection and knows he really should stop to make his father, who already dislikes his abilities, happier. He just...can't, though.
