Stacey asks to have her promotion paused for the moment. Your thoughts about her decision? Right or wrong thing to do?

It seemed the right thing considering the reasons that Stacey gave Kim. She was really happy where she was and felt she wasn't quite ready for the next stage. Which is really good for continuity of Kim's team and for us readers as well.

It was the right decision for Stacey at this particular time in her life. She will go for a promotion when it is right for her.

I agree with both of you.

Stacey is still a little unsure of her authority as was shown in the phone call she made when she tried to exert her authority. And as we see in this book, she isn't as intuitive as Penn. She likes working for Kim and learning as much as she can. She's in the right place for now.

Agree with all of you. There will come a point where she’ll just know she’s ready. It’s not right now.
