December 2021 mini challenge: HOLIDAY GRAB BAG...
Begins: 01Dec21 / Ends: 31Dec21

One thing I and my fellow co-workers looked forward during the holidays was our annual Holiday Grab Bag. We each bought a gift <$10, wrapped it and put it under the office Xmas tree. On the afternoon before our holiday break, we each, in turn, randomly chose a gift to open.

* Read a book whose author's first and last initials are in HOLIDAY GRAB BAG . Letters may be used only so often as they appear in the phrase; so Bill Bryson will work, but Ruth Reichl will not. Middle initials, if used, can be ignored.

* Read a book with a predominantly RED, GREEN, BLUE or WHITE cover.

* Read a book with a main character who works in an office environment. Tell us who and where they work.

*Read a book you got for <$10. Might be a thrift store or special sale. Gifts you got for free count. As do books you borrowed from a friend or the library. Tell us how you acquired the book.

* Read a book whose title begins with a letter in ORNAMENT -or- SOCKS (Ignore leading articles: A, An, The)

============================================

RULES OF THE CHALLENGE

All books used must be a minimum of 100 pages long - Page length determined by HARDCOVER 1st edition. If there is no Hardcover, then the most popular paperback governs page #.

You may read in any format - text, audio or e-book.

You MUST finish the book before you can claim credit for completing a task.

A book may be used for only one task, even if it would satisfy the challenge for multiple tasks.

EXAMPLE of a successful post:
Title begins with a letter in BLUE: - The Unteachables ✔ - 31May19

If you'd like to be recognized as finishing, the challenge, please post a new comment alerting me to your finish. I do not get notifications when you edit your original post.

Have Fun!

But this was a fun challenge! Can't wait to see what's coming up in 2022!! :)
Happy New Year, Everyone!

I thought that one would be impossible, but when I realized lawyers work in offices it was pretty easy.
